Very clear that 99% of Real Madrid fans here are all glory hunters. Only appear when things are going well for the team and shout 15UCLs. Now that the team is struggling, they've all disappeared and hid their faces. Going forward, never going to take any one of you seriously expect for maybe one or two. Tuehh ![]() |

jpmoriarti:You have a point. Especially when you realize that Ancelotti is one of the best coach in the world. Every team goes through poor and rough period. This is not the first time. Ancelotti have never defended a league title. But sure, he will bounce back winning matches and trophies again. If dem sack him, many top club will rush to sign him ASAP. Imagine if Madrid had someone clueless as Xavi dey coach dem. |

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti spoke to a critical press conference ahead of the La Liga game against Osasuna, addressing the poor recent form, especially in defence. Addressing that point specifically, Ancelotti outlined what is required to improve, saying the team needs “sacrifice, concentration and teamwork. I have said it many times and I repeat it. Sacrifice, concentration and teamwork. Sacrifice to be a compact team, concentration to make the right decisions; and teamwork because if you defend as a compact team... you saw last year that we can be something fantastic. The key is to be a compact team. It doesn’t matter if it’s a high or low block, the basis is to be compact.” Ancelotti on how the team are feeling and taking on Osasuna “Osasuna is doing very well, playing brave soccer and well positioned in the table. We see tomorrow as a great opportunity to get back to doing things right... at this moment, which is obviously difficult. We have a chance to get back to our best.” Ancelotti on if the team have discussed the recent form “Yes, obviously we have talked, we have analysed the situation. We think we have found the solution, but it must be seen in practice. We want to see a different version tomorrow. I see the team united, motivated and aware. We have found the right solution. But we have to wait until tomorrow to see if we act in the right way.” Ancelotti on what the identified problem is “This is not the place to talk about it. We think we have found the solution, but this is theory. The practice will be seen tomorrow.” Ancelotti on whether he has what it takes to bounce back “Yes, but not only me. All of us. It is a difficult moment we are going through, but we are still a very united and strong team. These moments always happen in football. But they are an opportunity to move forward and be stronger in the future.” Ancelotti on whether he doubts the team’s ability to get a result this weekend “No, no! But just as I have said many times that I am convinced that we will play our best version, I tell you that we will see tomorrow. We’ve talked about it on previous occasions and we haven’t succeeded. That’s why I say: let’s see tomorrow. The problem has been detected, it is very clear. I just want to see a reaction.” Ancelotti on Deschamps leaving Mbappé out of the France squad “It’s his decision and I don’t have the right to judge it. I don’t allow myself to do that. Mbappé is well, motivated. He’s down like everyone else, but he’s motivated to do well.” Ancelotti on whether time at Valdebebas will help Mbappé “He’s training well, he’s going through a difficult moment... Like each one of us. And like everyone else, he should think that this is an opportunity, that if he’s smart he can get through it, but it requires more concentration and attitude. This is how problems should be faced. The one that is suffering is everyone’s: he is not able to bring out his best version. But he must live this moment as an opportunity to be better in the future. And I am convinced that he will pull through. Convinced. And it’s the same for him, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Bellingham, me! It’s a difficult time for everyone, it’s obvious. But it’s not unusual to experience something like this, it’s normal in a sport where defeat is also contemplated. For a long time we got used to it... but this moment has come, we accept it and what we can’t do is lower our arms. They must be higher than ever. Because this is a strong, motivated group and the biggest club in the world. This is the best place to get through difficult times. And I am convinced that we will.” Ancelotti on whether he regrets not taking the Brazil job “Ufff! Thank you for this question. No, it’s a delicate moment, but it’s time to go on. I have no regrets and I continue to enjoy every day at Valdebebas. I will be grateful for all the time I will spend here. It’s a difficult time, but I’m happy to spend my time here, at the best club in the world. Complicated moments have always happened and will always happen.” Ancelotti on a difficult period “I enjoy every day at Real Madrid, even in difficult moments. Because I see the people united to get the best out of it. The support of the club and the players. Personally, they have been long nights, of thinking a lot and looking for solutions. Then, sharing these solutions... and the nights start to be so long. Now comes the preparation, the desire, the hope. To see if what we have planned can be put into practice.” Ancelotti on Fede Valverde “Very well, ready to play tomorrow. He has trained well these two days. I didn’t say he had a back problem, we never said that from the club; he had had it, but he has recovered. He is fine now.” Ancelotti on Bellingham’s more advanced role “I could give you an idea Ancelotti on Bellingham’s more advanced role “I could give you an idea of what’s going to happen tomorrow, but it’s not the time. I’m looking forward to the game, though, to see how it goes. Ours is not an offensive problem, nor is it a problem of positioning. It’s a defensive problem.” Ancelotti on why Vinícius doesn’t play as a number nine “Because I didn’t want to take him out of where he makes the difference and Mbappé can play as a striker. That’s all. We don’t have an offensive problem, but a defensive one.” Ancelotti on Endrick “He’s ready to play, doing very well, showing a lot of quality in training, I say the same about Güler, they are young players who are pushing. But the collective idea is to move forward as quickly as possible. Is it possible to move forward with them? Yes, but the goal is to move forward, that’s the priority. Not giving minutes.” Ancelotti on how his players are “Thinking that we can move forward. But after the words, we have to act. I can talk, but what we have to do is to reverse the situation. Today they are words, but they are carried away by the wind. What will remain will be tomorrow’s actions.” Ancelotti on whether the team needs signings “It’s not the right time. To think about signings is not to evaluate what we have. We will talk about this in the coming months.” Ancelotti on the future “I see it being a successful season, fighting for all the titles in all competitions. It will be like that. In a month we will have the chance to win the Intercontinental and we will be fighting in the League and Champions League, despite losing the matches we have lost. As it has always happened! As it has always happened!” Copied from Managing Madrid |

pu7pl3:Madrid is still the current champion of Laliga Current champion of UCL Current champion of Super Cup Until someone else win those cups... Personally, I'm calm as ever. We can't always win everything every season. Besides, law of diminishing returns is real. Take Man City for example too. Having one bad season in every five years is ok for me. |

pu7pl3:I dont see madrid winning tommorow's match, Vazquez will be facing that same guy that reaped barka's defense to shreds, Mbastard will most definitely flop and dumbcelotti will play him for 90, together with mendy I just can't wait to see that man get sacked |
