How do you know? Do you know them? It is normal in a lot of African traditions for a wife to kneel to greet or honour her husband. We do the same in traditional weddings in a lot of Nigerian tribes. Where do you think that custom comes from? The woman is a traditional wife, despite that she's a lawyer. How she chooses to honour her husband is up to her and them as a couple. Why should he? It is not in the African culture for a man to kneel down for his wife. Wheras it is very much the custom in a lot of African cultures for the wife to kneel to greet or honour her husband. It is not demeaning. I think it is a beautiful thing.
