Benefit of doubt for a player like sterling and for a team that is competing for the PL?

Then both Arteta and Edu are not serious about the Title Chase
We spent about 90% of the transfer window sealing deals for Calafiori and merino
For a team looking to win the league no striker, no backup rwf
You are not guardiola that win 4 epl on a bounce you they copy him lifestyle
E choke finish we they spam crosses all over sansiro and st. James park 😭😭😭

Haha

GBArteta is now being called out??

Wonders shall never end cheesy
What do you mean by call out?

I’m just stating the obvious that for someone that is in competition in the pursuit of a goal, he/she gats reinforce himself and whatsoever he needs to achieve that goal and not go for mediocre things

The manner at which we drag deals sef is another issue.

That yesterday match was something else cause they keep doing something over and over again without getting a positive result and they didn’t change approach

Raya has face more than half of the shots he faced last season already by November.

Our Tackles stat has increased by 300% of last season and we're just in November.

Our goalscoring has dived by a whooping 500% this season as well

Dynamic imbalance is the obvious answer.

Arteta's 3 toothless and clueless Musketeers(Kai, Trossard, Jesus) CAN'T even score without Saka being involved. So any mature team will just outmark the young lad and productivity of the entire team dives by 70%

Opposition also know too well that Saka is by default, a dedicated Defending guy so it plays right into their hands. Maybe it is time to adjust that for the benefit of this struggling team IMO.

My 'noise' has always been the same. It is any wonder that other noisemakers about "distributed goalscoring" are all crickets now?

if you want to beat the best, you have to do all it takes to outsmart the best, or at least match them all rounda

There's still MORE faith that Haaland will outscored all of our forwards combined and that alone dey fall shoulder.

You wantu win league without striker
You wantu win league without squad depth for your forwards
You have no smart substitution iQ up till now
You lack the sense to see that Saka can't continue to play every game
You lack the sense to get deputies so Teams don't double or triple up on the 1 player that brings 70% of your attack threat. It would have been better if he is dragging 3 to himself and opening up space for an Auba that will get a golden boot and who's touched around the box is swift, decisive and threatening that a slow thinker that need 3 touches before shooting worse than Taiwo Afolabi of Flamingos.

Arsenal is in the Emergency Ward. If January passes by and all these problems are not addressed to save the season, then Goodbye Mr Arteta.

Only Arteta knows why he keeps insisting on Trossard starting even when it clear Ethan deserves that chance. Trossard don don favourite boy now.
Martinelli makes me shake my head and hiss whenever I remember how effective Daiz have been for Liverpool this season, that was the kind of player is he, or rather was. Almost same pattern of play, electrifying, fast and clinical. Be like he was told not to ever do any other thing than trying to cut in with his left foot, crosses and light pass all the time, baba try cut with right, play r2, see better road pass the ball but nooo. To dribble player na war, once he see you coming he turns and seek who to pass to, no outside box shoots. Na only tracking back and defending he sabi now, make dem kuku turn am to defender.
Haverzt mmhmmm... cool
Saka.... undecided
And there have been a lot of defensive misshape lately, these errors been covered up because they try to respond to it fast, but it's there and can be capitalised on by a dangerous team.
Anyways, a midfield of Odegaard and Rice with the absence of Merino and Trossard should get the job done at Stanford Bridge on Sunday, I wanna be optimistic because that's the least I can do as a fan, 6 points gap na just 2 matches, if they team can get their head straight this will be a very good ride, cus after Chelsea na cruise matches full list.

Thunder supposed faya any gunner that feels criticism should not come the way of this hibernating team. Don Carlo and Pep still dey chop criticism till date. Who is now Arteta not to?

You don’t need to curse jaweee grin grin Shebi they’re happy with our shambolic performances

No squad depth, no worthy deputies just buying defenders.

Inasmuch as he hasn’t won a major trophy, he’ll be criticized by all and sundry

True sha. E dey pain me.

Hag won cup and left. I believe we have the reins in our hands. We should pick up and fix that imbalance before we get halfway into the season and still haven't played well to get goals and prevent goals

Osimhen Goal vs Spurs....

Odegaard to Osimhen without the need for all these passes. Muah.

Let's get a Victor. I prefer either to Isak.

I love the way you balance criticism with objectivity.

Arteta relied too much on Trossard especially against Inter, I never expected him not to play Ethan in that game seeing how we needed that central creativity as teams managed to double up on our wingers to kill our game.

You're spot on Martinelli.

Hopefully as Odegaard returns the creativity burden will shift from sides to central so that the wingers can have the space to get into scoring positions.

Based on how we play, Isak fits better than Osimhen. But then we lacking more in goal scoring wingers than false 9s. Lookman should be your dream guy

I don’t understand how a player should be considered with a broken toe

ESR scores. Presses the defender to win the ball, gets the ball back and finishes well.

Dunno why the let him go when replacement no dey. The Sterling panic buy sheds some light to how ill prepared our recruiting was. Are they monitoring anybody atall that when window open, it is obvious spade work's been done?

Smith-Rowe is doing well.

Osimhen>>>>>>>

All those 400 crosses we wasted vs Inter Milan is one game that will make me prefer him. Isak can't bully those CBs in the air and still power down a threatening header in dying minutes. Osimhen can. We don't need false 9 again. That setup na wetin dey cause part of the rigidity of MA cos he'll be thinking how the same false go dey play double or triple roles instead of just their role.

As for Lookman, i can't wait to see we pulled through tomorrow. That's a player we need on that discouraging LW.

100% better than most of our attacking bench players. He has great scoring instincts and understands positioning around dangerous areas of the attacking third.

Goal canceled for offside.

We showed a lack of courage with the way we managed the development of ESR and we are making the same mistake with Ethan. I feel like we missed a great opportunity to really help Nwaneri mature and grow in his game when our midfield was ravaged with injuries.

Nwaneri should have seen more minutes than he has seen thus far because he has justified it. I thought he could have started 1 game at least. Odegaard has returned and Arteta would rather take Rice with a broken toe or start a faltering Merino than give Ethan more minutes.

To be clear and honest, I was never sold on Iwobi on this thread. I didn’t and still don’t think he has what he takes to be an integral piece of a contender’s first team but he is too good for the bench. That isn’t a slight on him because he is a good first team player for a mid table team.

Overall, I am just happy to see the guys doing well. Not everyone will succeed at Arsenal.

Harry Wilson has done it again. But also got a goal disallowed. Fulham and 2 disallowed goals yet.... Omo

Wilson is on fire right now. Sadly, Arsenal no get that super sub this season. If not for disallowed goal, Wilson will be on 4 goals in 1 week!! shocked

True. Only that the kine patience our last two managers dey give some players, they no give Iwobi half of that before he was shipped off. Kai for example enjoyed loads of patience. But that ship has sailed as you said. Man is enjoying himself at Fulham this season so far. But sometimes i imagine him still at Emirates, but he's better where he is. Our manager go dey show bias with patience and minutes. Smh
