It usually gets worse when you look into the hearts of those who are advising you cry

It makes me nauseous when someone supporting the ruin of a nation starts having an opinion on how you tackle the results of their decisions. Later he will open his hands and gesture 4 + 4 all because 'his brother is there' undecided

In this tinubu regime let Nobody come here and tell people trying to keep body and soul together rubbish abeg angry

Anyone's financial positions is not even an issue. It is how they make judgements without substance that is quite funny. Firstly

1

In a country filled with injustice, and God shows you mercy to see 5 million to collect, how can someone say he could have made more?

ENSSARS victims that were brutalised, how much dem collect, after waiting years?

Police have shot people innocently and officers dismissed. How much dem pay the victims?

Thank God that Uber guy is not on this thread. Otedolas here would have advised him to reject 5 million, and wait for 15 years later to collect 10 million.

Honestly, even if it's 20m he gets in the next 10years, then when he will now deduct expenses for the court proceedings and settlements. Wetin go come remain. Corolla of 1.7m 5yrs ago is now 7m. Only God knows how much it will be in the next 5-10years.
Make person reject 5m plus toks Corolla.
Common sense is not common.

In a country that injustice is the order of the day?..

The Honourable's thugs can kill him tomorrow and nothing will happen

He can enter a legal battle that would end in 4 years sef.

I see that guy's case as God just showing him mercy. The Nigeria i know, that lawmaker won't pay shi shi and heaven will not fall.

Let's say the court gives judgment against the lawmaker and he refuses to pay the compensation contained in the judgment. What will happen? Or what happens if the lawmaker dies before judgement is given?

A bird in hand is worth more than thousands in the bush. In his shoes, I'll glady collect the 5m plus car compensation. And I do 9-5 grin

But baba was just okay with it ....I'm not sure that money will last him a year...Money wey all your village people don hear about ...d guy just vex me here
It is greed and lust that has turned the world upside down today.
As a self acclaim accountant, u should know there is no amount of money one gets that if not properly managed, it will finish in a twinkle of an eye.
If u are of the opinion he should start dashing his family and village people money because he has got compensation then ur credentials should be questioned.

Anyone's financial positions is not even an issue. It is how they make judgements without substance that is quite funny. Firstly

1) The Bolt driver did not file any case in court. He recorded what happened and posted it online. It went viral and prompted the Police and NASS to start investigations. Maybe I am wrong, but no court case is acknowledged for this

2) The investigations will most likely lead to sanctions for the lawmaker, not necessarily to compensate the driver. He will most likely be suspended or any other stuff. That's where the investigation will lead to.

In a country filled with injustice, and God shows you mercy to see 5 million to collect, how can someone say he could have made more?

My brother I'm just so weak at the level of minds that comment on this thread. See. I used to earn 3.5m per annum in Skye Bank 2014. After doing training school at Onireke Ibadan in 2013 skye Graduate Intensive Training SGIT after 6 months and confirmation I started earning and with quarterly 13thmonth etc 350k per month. Now a bag of rice then was less than 12k. At that level I should be earning like 2.5m in present day by the standard of inflation in 2014 cause then I have recall my house rent was 300k. I would usually wait for one quarterly and pay rent.

Here we are 10years later. I'm. Business owner also hustling and my mates in the same stream are either SBOs or AMs how much do they earn. None. I repeat NONE of them earn more than mein a month.

Now an Uber guy is gifted 5m plus a toks car and someone said his not smart. Lol. Can salary earners boast of 500k in their accounts? I mean a whole5m ans a toks corolla lipsrsealed to further make money. Mehn iz like someone working in corporate world given a better job(toks corolla) I mean better than whatever he earns and also 5m. Even if u gift davido 5m he will thank u.

Truth is iz poor minds with broke inferiority complex who have nothing to their names and feel threatened by their own natural instincts to make money on d streets instead being paid all their lives to forget their own lives.

Abeg live and let live

I am happy that guy got a reward swiftly.

In a country like Nigeria, nothing is guaranteed. You can sue Honourable, and 5 years later, una still dey go court

Honourable can afford to go to court 10 times in a day..Uber driver cannot.

Honourable wey get thugs here and there, fit design your disappearance...Nothing go still happen.

God be praised, for keeping the driver away from people who have cleaners that won't collect the 5 million.

Anyone who's against the guy for collecting that offer isn't in his/her right senses, collecting that offer was the best move for him to die the case, if he pursue the case further, he may end up regretting why not taking the offer and for someone in power, they can do anything to him while Nigerians will only clamour for justice they may not even get for him.

If I was in the guy's shoe, I won't even blink once I get such offer to, nah 3 slaps make that guy a millionaire overnight and someone somewhere is saying he doesn't have dignity, I laugh 😂

I don't think it's so much about the money but about the apology video he did afterwards. He could have gotten the settlement and still preserved his dignity if he didn't do the video

I have been saying this before.. driving for bolt and other e-hailling app will reduce your prestige, and modify the way you reason when you have no other source of income to survive..

imagine been humilated, degraded and demeaning like a slave

And after some shitty settlement and sidelining VDM ,still coming online to apologize to your oppressor. Hehehe and some miscreants here are applauding the guy decision..

Just a reminder: No body is talking about Bolt management not saying or making statement publicly about this whole scenario.. May God Almighty provide and protect all E-hailling drivers. AMEN
