Why would he compare GRV aspiration to rule Lagos state where he comes with Kemi who is immigrant in UK?

This is the problem with identifying people by their lineage instead of the environment in which they were raised and the place they identify with.

No one ever tells Donald Trump to show allegiance or even acknowledge Scotland and Germany , even though his parents are from these countries. To be specific, his mother was born and raised in Scotland while his dad's parents were immigrants from Germany.

Hugh Jackman's parents were English, but most people don't even know that. He is as Australian as can be. Helen Mirren's father was Russian. Isn't that beautiful? Why should some people be blood-tied to their father's origin when they were not raised in or taught about the culture and language.
