I agree it is wrong to exclude a sitting gov from an inauguration ceremony in which he is a key stakeholder. It is indeed very despicable and unhealthy for the incoming administration which will also handover one day.

Having said that, can Obaseki himself tell us what his administration, which is still in force, has done in preparation for the handing over ceremony coming up in about 72 hours from now?

Secondly, Obaseki should realise the gov elect is responsible, to a very large extent, preparation for inauguration ceremony ushering in his administration. Yes, the outgoing gov can express his displeasure on some arrangements and indeed remove them, but he is also responsible for inviting the incoming to brief him on the plan. Did he do that? Additionally, the incoming is completely free to invite whomsoever he wishes to grace his inauguration.

Lastly, he borrowed some expressions from Peter obi "stolen mandate." Can the gov explain how a mandate was stolen? Or is it that any election that doesn't favour you is automatically a stolen manhood?

Did you set up any transition committee that will interface with the incoming governor's team If yes, they should feed you back on the that would be invited from the sitting government, if you don't set up a committee, then the incoming governor owes you nothing.
