Probably you may be a Bini man, in place we destroyed it especially in farmland because nothing grows near were it's found. Nothing spiritual about it except your in your place or Bini that attached some spirituality to it.

The termites are doing good deeds also, it can help hunger in the land. That is why ants and termites are loved and known as hard worker or wise workers, with talents

I was told by a friend from warri ,delta state that seeing many ants in your door stop/ compound/surrounding brings Good luck and riches to that households. So i guess the person who did this should be from delta and believes in those traditional beliefs

I didn't argue with babies, simple practical will help you, just locate anywhere where Anthill is located plant any crop around it and plant the same crop abit distance from it and identified the difference and come back for this discussion after about 3 months. You can asked your grandparents as well if you have any.

I want to believe that ant hill is no longer active, else no wooden item or related would be safe in that place.

I'm currently struggling with termites on my farm. I just discovered a big an ant hill like this one on a neighbours farm this year. By early next year I'll be setting out to destroy that hill.

Terminates don't allow things to thrive well on on my farm. Kills young coconut trees and the established ones are not as healthy as they should. Even plantains are not spared. If you keep anything, be it wood, cement blocks, plastic or whatever anywhere on the floor of my farm, come back in a week or 2 and you'll find termites under it.

Its that bad. Its everywhere and making my farm location a big challenge. Any wooden structure is in trouble.

Same as me. In Akure Town, anthills and termites invasion is a curse against the town. They are everywhere destroying properties and furniture. They destroyed my snails nursing business, killing all the snails. The roof and wardrobes of my house needs constant attention, or they will finish them off.

And worse, they are always invisible, you can never see them in the daylight or trace their origin.

I'm talking of the ones in the thick bush. Not on anybody's farmland. The ones that are not situated anywhere near where humans dwell.

The ones around farms and houses are not where those types of spirits stay. It's only where humans seldom go to you will find them. Ask local hunters in your village they will tell you some stories
