Tanko Says Peter Obi Could Win Nigeria’s Presidency In 2027 by obasanjonews(op): 5:17pm On Nov 10, 2024
Yunusa Tanko, the National Coordinator of the "Obidient Movement," has confirmed that there is a possibility for Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 candidate, to become Nigeria's president in 2027.

Tanko also commented that electoral fraud during the 2023 election prevented Obi from winning, and he emphasized that a "new Nigeria" could emerge if citizens choose the right leaders.

He delivered this statement during a one-day symposium titled "Repositioning the Obidient Movement for Greater Impact," organized by the 'Obidient' Movement and Anambra State Support Groups at All Saints Cathedral Auditorium in Onitsha, Anambra State, on Saturday.

Tanko stated that they are committed to enhancing good governance and accountability by convening key stakeholders to deliberate on Nigeria's future. This event highlights the movement’s dedication to unity, justice, and equity.

If we organize effectively, Obi could become president in 2027. We'll ensure our agents are thoroughly prepared well ahead of the 2027 general election through comprehensive training and retraining programs.

A better Nigeria is achievable if we begin making informed choices when electing our leaders. We are committed to ending bad governance by ensuring the election of suitable individuals. In the 2023 general elections, despite accusations of lacking structure, Peter Obi won but was denied success due to electoral malpractice. This time around, history will not repeat itself.

The current government has even left the North feeling discontented. We are committed to pushing for electoral reform through legal and physical avenues. We'll rally our supporters both in public demonstrations and courtrooms, while also submitting our proposals to the National Assembly. The Obidient Movement is dedicated to empowering Nigerian youths by advocating for significant change and accountability. Our mission aligns with the goals of promoting good governance, justice, and equity.

Tanko also encouraged the South East to maintain their support for the movement, advocating for free and fair elections that genuinely reflect Nigerians' interests. He emphasized that selecting the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission should be independent from presidential influence to guarantee impartiality.

In her speech, Professor Stella Okunna, the event chair, highlighted the significance of good governance and expressed gratitude to the organizers for revitalizing the movement.

Okunna urged the team to enhance their visibility across different political affiliations.

In his address to the stakeholders, Valentine Ozigbo, the Labour Party's governorship aspirant for Anambra in 2025, emphasized the movement’s aim of promoting Nigerians’ interests. He encouraged members to remain united and committed to building a better Nigeria.

He mentioned that he had distributed a document called "Ka Anambra Chawapu." The

This document presents policies aimed at creating a better, brighter, and more prosperous Anambra. When implemented, these strategies will secure a promising future for the state.

Ozigbo emphasized the need for people to come together to reclaim power from those currently in office.

In a virtual address, economist Professor Pat Utomi emphasized the importance of synergy and proactiveness among members, urging them to take collective action for a brighter future.

Best thing is for Peter Obi to boycott next elections what we have in Nigeria today is not INEC or Judiciary but a state capture by a drug baron and his gangs running a illegitimate government for people that never elected them

A go-to search visit in Malaysia or an Indian prison reveals where really the drug barons of Nigeria come from. That is when even their new messiah has not yet captured power. Para eventually he does, as they wish he does, then Nigeria will beat the likes of Mexican, Colombia, and Haiti in drug gangsterism.
God forbid !

He is too timid
Even if the people vote for him he can't defend it
Somebody the opposition planted its own member as a chairman of his party in his own strong hold of lagos, he couldn't do anything until the people fought the salako guy off, not until selling of house of rep victory in oshodi
He couldn't ensure the party has polling agents in over 44000 polling units, how was he going defend his votes
