We need our own Harry Wilson. Even if na loan. We can't even point to one attacking prospect on the bench that can come in and change any game in 5mins. NONE. 70% OF ATTACK dies when Saka is not on pitch. We created chances but until una realize say we get finishing problem, una no go know when everything scatter. You can't execute such a hectic season with such a bench. You can't even use Sterling. So why get him? Man is not even as 'good' as GJ, as hilarious as that sounds. I want an Arsenal that we will be comfortable without Odegaard, Saka and Partey on the pitch. Till then |

daveP:I keep asking, at our worst (injuries, competition, form, officiating, etc), can anyone confidently argue Scamteta can be the difference for us? My answer has always been no and remains no! There are teams who suffer similar injuries and issues but the fanbase is not as rattled because they trust their coach will make up the difference! That is how I rate my coaches. This scam needs all of his first 11 before we can even dream of watching good football, make we no even talk 3 points. I will be honest and tell you, even if we sign Gyokeres, Sesko, Isak, J. David and every available striker you can think of, Scamteta will still ruin and misuse them. Essentially, we have become top 4 contenders again. Chelsea is now above Arsenal on the log! This is so annoying and shameful. |

Roland17:Edu leaving is exposing something is not right Edu wasn't happy with the board overlooking him for the CEO role and the board didn't release enough funds for them in this transfer window Because they were questioning Edu and arteta transfer following the likes of Sambi, viera, jesus, zinny etc This was used against edu for the CEO role and I guess it didn't go down well with him The effect of this is the board shortlisted per or rosicky for the role of technical director but the kroneke said they don't want ex players again Edu as ruined the chances ex players will benefit in arsenal Remember I use to sing this song that kroneke don't care about us and they are business people, because they are dropping money and no results doesn't mean they are fool We might be going back to the days of reckoning where we sell to buy all thanks to arteta aka the best of them |

I’d be the first to say Merino had a good performance when he came in. He is still miles away physically but he was impactful in moving the ball forward. Rice is injured, he looks like everything hurts. With Odegaard back, we need to rest Rice, he hasn’t been as impactful. As for Trossard, it’s a shame he is missing these opportunities. I used to trust him with his finishing but he is off and his confidence is down. I said it 2 weeks ago that the morale of this team is down. Their form and performance has been poor and it is now affecting their psyche. They need someone, preferably a team mate that can rally them mentally because it’s doesn’t seem like Arteta is. |

iamoyindamola:I knew it! I knew something deeper was going on with his departure. This is why I am not bothered by his departure. Didn’t they spend on Calafiori, Merino, Raya/ Neto and Sterling (loan) this past summer? Dem dey mad! They are approaching 1 billion with nothing to show for it but bottle jobs. He can go and do that nonsense with Olympiakos. |

Watching Oshimen first goal yesterday,my mind trace back to all our crosses that Havertz is doing kunkere with, this guy is cheaper right now that Viktor |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 8:58am On Nov 11, 2024 |
daveP:If you're going to base your pattern on crosses because you want to buy Osimhen then you will need to get wingers who are good crossers. If you will limit Saka and Martinelli to crosses then you won't get the best from them. They are goal scorers not crossers. With them, you don't need a striker. In our pattern, we create the chance from one wing and finish at the other. The goal against Chelsea is the latest example. |

Spy360:No it is isn’t. My reason isn’t necessarily based on Liverpool/ City (our biggest competitions for the title) dropping points but our inability to raise our game to get the needed results when it happens. We are approaching December and already 9 behind Liverpool and 6 behind City who look poor. The only positive for me is that Odegaard’s injury happened early in the season. I just pray Partey doesn’t take his sabbatical this season because he has been unbelievable for us. |

Roland17:I share your sentiment and thoughts but I can't just concluded that we're all about the top 4 just now. The season is still young and a lot more can happen before May. Top 4, title, all of it is aside for now, what matters is for them to wins their games and leave the fate of others to them. |

Mick Brown (ex-scout): “Arteta isn’t happy with the players in that position [winger]. There have been question marks about Sterling, Martinelli & Jesus — they’re all viewed as squad players.” “From what I’m told, Arsenal want to improve in that position in the transfer market. The recruitment & scouting team have already been looking at players, a real superstar, game-changing player is what they’re looking for.” Credit [@footyinsider247] |

Roland17:But no one wins the title in November. We all want this title chase to be an easy one. Besides in these 11 few games we have already played the top teams on the log all away. Tells a story. I understand your point though. |

Spy360:This is the mistake we have made over the last 2 seasons and the mentality has carried on to this season. The idea that everything will fix itself come next year and other teams will stagnate or drop. The points total for the winning team do not suddenly appear on the final month or day of the season. These points we keeping dropping become consequential in April, especially if the race becomes tight. We cannot continue to pretend like the league starts in May or April of 2025. We are not taking advantage and that is a serious problem we must address. Again, Liverpool and City will drop points but can we take advantage? Can we raise our game to get those points? Yesterday was an improvement but for a team with title ambitions, we needed all 3 points, especially when you consider City dropped points. If Arteta started the season saying we need to be perfect to win the EPL because of the tight margins, shouldn’t you be bothered about the points we continue to drop? I am not giving up on the title run, we have the team and I believe both Liverpool and City will slip but I don’t trust us to raise our game and I am going by history and what this team has shown me. |
