I currently work with a multinational company here in Nigeria, I have a son and my wife to take care of.

My wife is a registered nurse.

I want her to travel abroad for further studies, I have some savings already. And I eat. #1.5 m+ monthly.

Please can you suggest best countries she can go for studies and also with prospects of getting permanent residency soonest.
Well for me, I would tell you simply enrolled your wife to a German Language school in any of the Geothe Institute in Nigeria, let her learn till B1 level.

After the B1, then she can apply for Ausbildung in Hospitals in Germany or for a direct placement.

Trust me, this doable and the easiest way without spending.

And all can move to Germany together with the family for a family reunion process

Except you have some savings to rely on or your wife will do some work when she gets there, I am sorry mate N1.5M is not worth much in today's world (less than $1,000). Also, I guess you also have to carter for yourself from that N1.5M?

UK. But Buy lots and lots of winter coats because she will surely throw you out of the house grin
As they say, it's a woman's world out there. Ensure that your marriage is on a sound footing otherwise you might lose her and your home to the white man's society that knows no "Husband is the head of the wife." If you insist on that your goose will get cooked. The system will support her against you. You might get the short end of the stick later! Please thread softly.

Yes, the plan is for her to get permanent residency, and the family may join later on.

Nigeria is not stable, we may seem to be okay today, but what happens in the next 2 - 3 years is so uncertain.
Since she's a registered nurse. She should write IELTS, UK nursing licensing exam and Apply for a job in the UK as a nurse. Once she passes her exams it will be easy.. She would be a skilled visa and you can join her. That's the best.

If you exchange 1.5 million Naira to pounds, you will get £696 which is quite poor compare to what he will be earning abroad. UK pays average of £10 pounds per hours and if he works 8 hours per day, that will be £1920 per month which is 4.1 million naira

Though, he will spend more on rent in Uk, tax, maintenance, transportation and miscellaneous, but standard of living is far more better in UK compare to Nigeria and don't also forget that naira has lost is purchasing power

1.5 million in Nigeria now is like 300k a year ago
1.5m is like 300k a year ago and so many people never see 1m for their account once in their life and they are still feed well with der business
Make una small small for this App because 1.5m is nothing for you doesn't mean is a small money, don't forget 100m is like 100k to some people

If your wife is already a registered nurse. Forget further studies. Send her to the Philippines to sit for NCLEX and move to the USA for work

Don't listen to this loser. He has always been a loser, advising people out of his stupid experience in his own marriage.

Bro, I sent my wife about 3 years ago to Australia. My salary then was a little above 1 million naira net monthly.

She came to Aussie as a student. After 2 years she invited me and our children.

I am now in Australia. The best decision I ever made in my entire life is to leave Nigeria.

If your family mistakenly come ta Australia, bro, they will forever remain grateful to you as my family is to me.

You are still young I suppose, I came into Australia at 48.

Bro, again, if you mistakenly enter Australia, you're made.

Your wife is even a nurse. The much needed nurses.
So long as your marriage is going good and you are both committed and faithful under God.

Thanks alot for your input, I have up to 15m aside, if you can give more insight into other cheaper options, better.

I want to start the process this coming January.
Boss, you can't be in Nigeria and be sponsoring someone in countries like uk, etc. Your salary will barely be enough to pay her rent.

Noted!
But did you read where I stated that some money have been saved already?

Well Ur response is appreciated.
For much of the Western nations, your wife alone will need $1000-2000 per month to take care of cheapest accommodation and feeding.

Convert your income to dollars, this would be impossible.

I don't know if some other Asian countries or the poorer Eastern nations

With the way you're doing currency conversion upandan, it seems you don't know how things work abroad do you? grin...

Lemme put it into perspective for you undecided...

Let's use your own calculations undecided...

Can 1920 pound/month in the UK give you the same standard of living (or better) as compared to 1.5 million/month in Nigeria? undecided...

The answer is NO!! undecided...
Most people don't get that angle. A man who pays his bills, eats well and sleeps in air-conditioned rooms all from his legit sweat living in Nigeria will be wise to refrain from relocating abroad.
