Hmmmmmmn... Is it your 1.5m monthly that is breading this idea?

Having money is not enough reason to take such a sensitive decision.

I currently work with a multinational company here in Nigeria, I have a son and my wife to take care of.

My wife is a registered nurse.

I want her to travel abroad for further studies, I have some savings already. And I eat. #1.5 m+ monthly.

Please can you suggest best countries she can go for studies and also with prospects of getting permanent residency soonest.

Hi poster, it's best for your family that you do the difficult job of seeking greener pastures and let your wife stay at home. As someone who wanted his wife to go ahead to school abroad, but who needed to do it himself, I believe most women can't handle the sheer loneliness of staying abroad like a man. I have observed it and will advise you about the plan of sending your wife to school abroad for your marriage sake and hers too

Do the honor; go ahead of her. When things don't go your way as a man/husband, you can handle it better than your wife (I'm speaking from every ounce of experience not some political-correctness stuff). If you need to go ahead, move your wife and children to any of your parents (your wife needs all the emotional support you can imagine), thank me later.

Best advice so far. Teeth gnashing, premium tears in the offing for OP.

OP, no reason that thing again.abeg

You want to send your wife abroad to study while you remain back in Nigeria,,?

I believe the ultimate goal is for yo remain and work after or during studies, do you have intention to join her then or sometimes later.

Because the way most women are moving these days after they land abroad is worrisome, before you worry about the countries to send her, consult with people who have relocated abroad or sent their wives there to studies what advice they have for, make stories no later enter

Let's say you send her abroad and she gets the permanent residence and then you join her, what's next? undecided...

You want to leave 1.5 mil/month to travel to a place where you're not even sure of $5/hour? undecided...

Or are you counting on your wife holding the fort till you find your feet abroad? grin...
Intelligent question.i can't believe the way some reasons
You have got an awesome opportunity here despite the harsh economy" yet here you're assuming wallowing in world of uncertainties

Less assume she got there and started doing fyn economically & later you were opportune join her there have you thought of the aftermath" mind you you might not get visa approval in the next two years+ then a lot could have happened although am not saying she might be unfaithful " (but what if she decide to"wink but then remember she might have some extended family which could economically exhausting to her what then becomes your faith if at the end you couldn't get a buffeting job?

Is she tolerant enough to withstand your excesses abroad? It's good to travel abroad while you're still single otherwise you have have to be smart 🤓 brother

Left to me I would asked you to concentrate & build your family down here first then would saved enough for this trip & travel along with your family joyously without having to sleep with one mind open & always looking at the time of lodging and lodg out,if you know you go know

You are over thinking this issue...... Your wife is an RN.....

Send her to the UK to start work and she would slowly progress her career, whilst in the UK.....

If you have family members in the UK, she can start by squatting with them(not for too long), till she fully settles in.....

Your Naira 1.5 million monthly is approximately $900 at this point in time and will probably continue to fall in value over the coming weeks. I hope your plan is not to send your children along with her or something. Abi na for ghetto you dey send them to go live for there? undecided

Don't listen to this loser. He has always been a loser, advising people out of his stupid experience in his own marriage.

Bro, I sent my wife about 3 years ago to Australia. My salary then was a little above 1 million naira net monthly.

She came to Aussie as a student. After 2 years she invited me and our children.

I am now in Australia. The best decision I ever made in my entire life is to leave Nigeria.

If your family mistakenly come ta Australia, bro, they will forever remain grateful to you as my family is to me.

You are still young I suppose, I came into Australia at 48.

Bro, again, if you mistakenly enter Australia, you're made.

Your wife is even a nurse. The much needed nurses.
Unrelated...

Long but extremely useful thread on your Australia migration. was really motivating. thank for sharing your experience.

3 years ago, Naira 1 million was still worth about $2500. Today, that same amount is barely $600. What the f-ck kind of advice are you trying to give OP for Pete's sake? 🙄

In all you do, please avoid agents and agencies irrespective of nice they may sound.

There is a thread for Nigerian nurses planning to emigrate. Rather than spending so much going to school, go get information about the country you want her to go and pursue that. It is cheaper, convenient, and you all can leave together.

Yes, the plan is for her to get permanent residency, and the family may join later on.

Nigeria is not stable, we may seem to be okay today, but what happens in the next 2 - 3 years is so uncertain.
lol. 5years ago where u earning 1.5m monthly?. U might be on 3m monthly in the next 5 years.. so stop always thinking negativity
