Unfortunately, several people have had this same issue with DHA recently.
It’s either they are trying to disuade people from using online DHA or they have another motive.
Yours is one the many I have seen recently.
I advise people do physical application for now instead.
E DHA has become a cash cow.

If this persists.
Proceed to the airport and ask for The Airline ticketing office, not counter oh.
They will sort you out.

Can I use the bank statement of a sponsor who’s not directly related to me for my study visa application, if yes are there additional documents i have to submit alongside the bank statement.

For a student , one way ticket is fine.

I applied for a visitors visa on September 19 for a visit dated December 22 and ifs still not out yet. I recently sent them a letter from some government agencies supporting my application ( after i had already applied). Who has any idea why that may be the case, visiting south africa as part of a world record tour to all african countries

I’m not sure I know exactly what bank balance is precisely expected. I asked that question here on this platform too weeks back. All I know is that I maintained 2.2m bank balance over 3 months with good inflow and outflow of cash in my account and submitted the statement as part of visa document.


As for accommodation, my Supervisor was so nice to me as he helped me sort that out so I was given a direct document for the lease agreement to be added as part of visa document too.

For emphasis, I’m studying for MSc.

Hello everyone , I am applying for SA sticker visa for a family vacation. Do I need to take my 6month old baby for the vsf submission appointment.

Does anyone have an idea of the processing time for sticker visa recently. My travel date is dec 24th. Should I give it a try. Your input is highly appreciated.

You can take him along for sighting but they won’t do anything with him.
His passport photograph suffices.

THE BMA OFFICER, told me categorically that they are phasing out E- visa.
I asked again to be sure I heard what she said.

Yes, because you might need an employer’s letter which I didn’t add in mine.
So giving my list would mislead, better for him or her to read from vfs.za

5 days is sufficient

1. I've not come across any classification of traveller status on VFS website for SA visas. However, I am well aware that on ground at VFS office, if you have obtained at least two SA visas in the past, your application will be treated as frequent traveller.

2. There's no minimum account balance. Just have enough money to sponsor the trip, and some change left afterwards.

3. Processing times vary, it can take 2 days to 3 months.

Do you mean 5days between submission and receipt of the Visa decision? Or 5days holiday in South africa?

5 Days holiday in south africa. I was worried if the V.O will consider it too short. or i should consider a week.

No, 5days isn't short.

KQ has longer FLY time. They'll first take you to East Africa before heading South. TAAG will take you South three hours from Lagos, layover for whatever time and fly you to SA for another 2 and half or 3 hours.

So, it's up to you to choose.
