I'm going to respond because you said your wife is a registered Nurse. If truly she is, you don't need to waste money on studies. She already have her license, just help her to study and pass for the license of the country she is interested in. US, UK or Canada. Getting job is her best way to permanent residency.

Let her learn German to B1 level and then apply for Nursing or healthcare jobs either in Germany or Austria. That way, it will be easy for her to take her family along with her.

It's also a faster route to get Permanent residency in these two countries.

I currently work with a multinational company here in Nigeria, I have a son and my wife to take care of.

My wife is a registered nurse.

I want her to travel abroad for further studies, I have some savings already. And I eat. #1.5 m+ monthly.

Please can you suggest best countries she can go for studies and also with prospects of getting permanent residency soonest.
Hope you won't come back here to cry later?
Send her to covenant university if you have money to spend and save your marriage.

Depending on how long she has her qualifications, check out DAAD scholarship for Germany.

That money is nothing, you should be looking at 5-10m a month before thinking about sending your family abroad
Don't discourage him, the wife can't be studying alone na, she must look for a part-time job to support her husband. I would advise her to leave the child back in Nigeria first. Good luck!

Why not be going on vacation in order to open the travel route for your family. Does it really make sense to spend that much on your partner? You’re well to do hear in Nigeria already. Be investing hugely instead.

Many rubbish talk on nairaland.

Explain how someone earning N1.5M will sponsor his partner schooling abroad with no other means of support?

Op, do not listen to anyone trying to discourage you.

You are a good man who wants the best for his family hence your thinking about sending your family abroad.

If I had listened to people 3 years ago when I was about sending my wife abroad, I and my family won't be where we are today.

For every family that separated abroad, there are tens that survived.

Do not listen to men who cannot keep their wives. Let them not influence you.

Many men who are abroad today sent their wives first. And the families are now together and happy afterwards.

Do not allow vain men to ruin your strategic desire to give your family the best abroad.

My 2 cents, sir.

Them : Don't send your wife abroad.
Especially if she is a nurse.

Still Them : Suggest countries I can send my wife to with bla Bla Bla millions.

And "Still Them" are suggesting and advising.

Send her to Germany.

She'll first spend 6-12 months in Nigeria learning German at a very good language school.

Then you can apply for a nursing program in Germany as well as a short language program which she'll take first before starting the nursing program.

With this strategy you'll save on cost cos education there is free.

Alternatively try France or Brazil. Education in France and Brazil there is cheap and sometimes free (scholarship and knowing the language), plus you can join her there when she's through and have a child there that will grant you guys easy citizenship.

Your N1.5m monthly income is less than $1000.

If your eyes are on USA, UK and Canada, you'll need close to $50,000 or more with upfront payment or cash available to spend around $30000 or more.

For Germany, France, Brazil, you'll spend $25,000 or less and cash available to spend around $18,000.

Lastly your wife must be ready to work to support herself during the program.

She cannot depend solely on you.

And weigh your options well and be sure she's the type that will always be loyal.
Your last paragraph is very important. Brilliant contribution overall.

What if he is able to access some sort of loan and pays back gradually? Let's assume If the wife gets over there and she's able to get a good job, she can be sending few dollars home so that they can offset the debt or loan faster.

1.5millon can do much that way

You want to send your wife abroad to study while you remain back in Nigeria,,?

I believe the ultimate goal is for to remain and work after or during studies, do you have intention to join her then or sometimes later.

Because the way most women are moving these days after they land abroad is worrisome, before you worry about the countries to send her, consult with people who have relocated abroad or sent their wives there to studies what advice they have for you, make stories no later enter
Deep contribution the last paragraph should be taken seriously we don too hear story for this obodo Nigeria

Don't listen to this loser. He has always been a loser, advising people out of his stupid experience in his own marriage.

Bro, I sent my wife about 3 years ago to Australia. My salary then was a little above 1 million naira net monthly.

She came to Aussie as a student. After 2 years she invited me and our children.

I am now in Australia. The best decision I ever made in my entire life is to leave Nigeria.

If your family mistakenly come ta Australia, bro, they will forever remain grateful to you as my family is to me.

You are still young I suppose, I came into Australia at 48.

Bro, again, if you mistakenly enter Australia, you're made.

Your wife is even a nurse. The much needed nurses.
you just advised the Op based on your experience, no one attacked you. Another person also advised the Op probably based on his own experience but you attacked him with insults. Nah waa ooo.

Because it worked for you does not mean it must work for others. And because it did not work for you doesn't mean it won't work for others. We have read so many times where it did not work. We have also read so many times where it worked.

I wonder when it became an offense for someone to give his opinion.

No you should stop deceiving him because the man does not have the money to send his wife abroad through education. Even with the 14M he has currently it’s not enough to send the wife to Australia, Canada , US or the UK.

Many of you are just typing for the sake of it but lack basic understanding of the situation.

Yes he has 14M saved already so my question to you is… is 14M enough to study in any developed country? How much is 14M converted to £ , $ or € ?

Let me ask you, if I sponsor myself outside with the little savings I have presently, how is my wife and son going to survive while am away?

Am the one doing a better job for now. So resigning and traveling will cause financial hardship for me and them too. Because no one will be sending money to support me while I study.

Inosky:
Sponsor yourself outside, that's if you didn't marry your wife a virgin or plan the whole family relocation. Or You can setup a business for her, with some part of your savings, then bring her after you settle.
The possibility of her cheating on you over there is high like 90%, she may still bring you along after studies to complement your goodwill but your marriage may never be the same, which would lead to divorce/separation.
