For those saying NASS will impeach the president, read what Dogara said in the report on impeachment
I always say it, the hardest thing for any individual is getting to that seat, when you get there, you are more powerful than even the American president, if we have anyone willing to work for the people, forget whatever NASS or some big wigs wanna do, they can't impeach him.
Assassination and coup is even unlikely due to past experience, but the problem is majority of them are not seeking for the good of the people

What they are saying is that the British parliamentary system of government would have been a better model than the rubbish executive system we currently have. How do we go back to that model? That flew over many people's heads in this thread. People are discussing solutions, some idiots are like Aregbe this, Aregbe that.

Once you see them out of government where they steal and make free money you see them yawning dust. These are people that have been in government for years without significant impact.

Its not easy to speak against your benefactor after eating from his table. For that, I give Aregbe 40 marks .

It is not Yorubamanlike to oppose his Oga. They dont have the cojones.

The 30k per month paid tribal vuvuzelas who live daily on this site to water down any criticism and intellectual analysis of the policies of the failed government wouldn't do that so that their 30k can continue to come.

Having said that, anything built on disregard for human rights and welfare will not stand. A government exists to make life reasonable for the people, create opportunities for wealth creation and provide security.

This government has failed in all the indices.

I never knew that any leader could dwarf Buhari's incompetence.

Rauf Aregbesola, former Nigerian Minister of Interior.

You see all these people are serial time wasters.
I begin to imagine how former governor instituted the parliamentary system in the LGCA during his administration and what were the successes and failures recorded in all ?

The likes of Hon. Dogara are just funny. Imagine saying such about a constitution done in the '70s and 1999 constitution and you saw all the inadequacies but yet as Speaker of the House you did nothing tangible to ensure that such is amended or you and your House did not push to make a new constitution and you saw lapses in all of these even in your undergraduate days.!!!
Nigerian politicians are worse than vipers. They don't change anything meaningful when they are inside but would want to proffer solutions when they have been kicked out.

Waste of time....the north is Nigeria's one and only problem.
Only the north is against total restructure, resource control, amendment of 1999 evil constitution,regionalism...they are even against VAT amendments now and tax reforms.

They are dogs in other people's mangers....
north is Nigeria problem but southwest son is the president that inflicted pains on Nigerians more than any president with all his kinsmen mount every sensitive positions, north is the problem to you meanwhile same north voted for him or gave him the power led by prof. Yakubu

Aregbesola was Governor for 8 years, a Minister in the last Government, and Dogara was House Of Reps Speaker too, as these two couldn't make moves to convince their colleagues to canvas for what they're preaching now.
These guys are joke and only complain when things don't go their ways. May God help Nigeria.
Re: Ex-Governor Aregbesola Warns Of Possible Revolution In Nigeria by gawu1: 8:38am On Nov 12, 2024
When he was eating from the government revolution was not possible, but revolution is possible now because he's out of favor with the government.
If there is revolution, Areghosola should know that he is part of the establishment that could be consumed by it.

I agree with what you are saying, have stayed in the east. The east is like a country on his own, the only thing that connects them with Nigeria is just the naira, even some schools in the east hardly recite the national anthem or even observe some of the public holiday's.

Apparently, seeing many victims still defending the flip flop policies show this country is not changing any time soon.

Fake news. Tell that to the numerous Igbos in Kafachan, or Kano, or Kaduna, or Benin, Ibadan and Lagos with their established big businesses and houses, they will tell you the SE is Nigerian and is going nowhere.
