Point of correction, Enahoro was not Awo's peer. He was one of Awo's boys... the motion for Independence he moved was pre-planned by AG and Enahoro was chosen to move the motion when they get to the floor of the House.

Of a fact, the motion moved didn't go down well with the North, it was documented in Sir Ahmadu Bello's autobiography.

Ahmadu described Enahoro as Awo's errand boy.

Well, that's quite a condescending context you've used to recall Enahoro's. Peers do not necessarily mean equals; for me, it meant political contemporaries. I was just surprised to see Enahoro being described by Sowore as a crumbs picker 40 years after his 1950s heroics.

Not entirely true. There was already better life (N50) in 1993.

A 20cm high multi-bundle of N50 notes was about N25,000. 20 bundles will fill the inner base level of a big Ghana must go bag meaning the first row of such bundles will amount to N500K. Only two floors of such bundles will cover the 800K or half the bag.

One thing I will agree with you is that 800k then cannot be contained in a single or both hands. Also, 800k in 1993 is at least equivalent to N70million today. N800K would build a duplex in 1993. So Sowore is likely lying.
