Please those whose visa got approved. How long did you have to wait to get your passport. My visa was approved last Friday but I have not been able to get any information about the passport collection. Is it on caec, usvisaappt or ois that you got the information? |

Hello everyone, I'm not sure if this is the correct group for my question, so please bear with me if it's not. I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out for guidance on completing B1/B2 visa applications for my father- and mother-in-law, who are currently residing in Nigeria. I apologize if this is the incorrect forum and appreciate your understanding if that is the case. Here is a summary of the steps I’ve taken so far and the challenges I’m facing: I completed the DS-160 forms for both applicants, using the same email address for each. I made the payment at GTBank and obtained the payment receipt. On the old Traveland platform, I created profiles to check for available dates. Unfortunately, I couldn’t secure a date before the site became unavailable. I transitioned to the new platform, where I successfully created a profile for my father-in-law. However, I encountered issues: I couldn’t apply the previously obtained payment receipt to the new profile. When attempting to create a profile for my mother-in-law, I faced issues due to using the same email address on her DS-160 form. I created a new email address to register my mother-in-law’s profile, but the account has not yet been activated. I initially intended to create one profile and add my mother-in-law to it, so they could schedule the same interview date, but it appears the new platform does not allow this. At this point, I am unsure how to proceed. If anyone could provide advice or guidance on navigating this process, I would greatly appreciate it. I look forward to any suggestions or solutions that might help me move forward. Thank you for your time and assistance. |

I started a DS-160 application that i haven't completed and submitted. When I try to retrieve it, i got the message no matching data found. I realize it's been more than 30 days and I only have to upload the file and retrieve but I don't have the file to upload and therefore had to fill a new DS -160 but i have already scheduled a visa appointment on this uncompleted and expired application ID Kindly advice on what to do. |

onomeb2k:No I didn’t. I don’t think you have to. If there’s a reason why you can’t interview in abuja then just go to the interview and be prepared to tell them the reason (although I wasn’t asked). What @dees said was correct, they’ll just retrieve your ds160 details from abuja to Lagos but you’ll wait like extra 20 minutes. Although my honest reason was that my school start date is January and the earliest abuja interview date at the time was February. |

The rules says you cannot but when you are rescheduling on the new avits there is option to search for date btw Lagos and Abuja. Therefore, if you are successful in changing there is no crime in that. Your duty is to fill another ds 160 that will align to the consular post.Per the US Embassy, if you fill out DS-160 for one city, you can attend interview in another city. See screenshot.

Please, for my ds160, I currently work as a senior carer in the UK having completed my masters in business administration..I am going for an MBA in the USA and I'm expecting the VO to ask me questions like, why another masters in business, I intend saying my masters in the UK was fully theoretical and the MBA is with a specialization in information technology which focuses on the technological side of the business, as my company is looking to expand to north eastern part of England and this degree will better prepare me to head the IT department. Or, I should just fill in the DS160 that I work as a logistics manager, which was my job while in Nigeria. Pls help me. |

Please help!! I initially scheduled my appointment for February 19th 2025, after requesting emergency appointment, I was able to schedule for a new date of November 25th, 2024. The problem is when I print my confirmation letter, it is still showing the old date. How can I resolve this?

Good morning everyone Please I don't quite understand this new website for appointments. I have made payments and the next option I am seeing is pre-approval request. HOW DO I UPLOAD MY PAYMENT SLIP OR IS IT NOT NEEDED? PLEASE AFTER THE PAYMENT IN THE FIRSTBANK, WHAT NEXT? |

Good day boss, please how can one avoid having that pre-approval issue when paying the MRV fee? Does it help to pay with dollar card rather than going the First Bank route? Thank you. Gretmang: |
