As Senator Monday Okpebholo and Honourable Dennis Idahosa have taken office today, let us advise them as follows:

(1) Prioritize the people you lead, irrespective of their political leanings.

(2) Avoid fights. They'd distract you and mar any of your good work.

(3) Obaseki did a lot of good things, but he'd be remembered for fighting Oshiomole, Shuaibu, Wike, Hosa Wells Osunbor, legacy PDP, Tinubu, 16 members of the Edo State House of Assembly and outrightly refusing to settle his rifts with them. His rift cost Asue Ighodalo the election.

(4) Decapitate the multiple informal taxes collected across the state. They cripple businesses and scare away investors.

(5) Work with the center and address the problem of bad roads. We don't appreciate installing billboards saying, "This is a federal road, please bear with us". Obaseki did that for 8 years and even when Umahi publicly said he'd give Obaseki approval if he sends a Whatsapp message, Obaseki never did.

(6) Address the problem of poor water supply across Edo State. It is shameful that water tankers are still selling water in Edo State.

(7) Be decisive on cultists once and for all.
