Stop being retarded. You can go verify this information in the history books at your local library. There's no dispute who founded Abuja after the Fulani Conquest.

So you are saying an islamic war monger founded Abuja, implying that there was some sort of genocide of some indigenous citizen by some kind of islamic conquest?

I'm explicity saying you're clown who doesnt k know history. I didn't claim Abu-Ja was a war monger. I stated he founded Abu-Ja after Dan Fodio defeated the Hausa Kingdoms. I'm pretty sure they were all Muslim at the time just not a pious as Dan Fodio preferred.

Two continents and the world superpower were named after a dead person.
America ( USA )
North American and
South America.

The continent of America is named after Amerigo Vespucci, an Italian explorer who was the first to propose that the lands discovered by Christopher Columbus were a separate continent:

Discovery
Vespucci explored the Americas in the early 1500s and concluded that the continents were separate from Asia. He wrote letters to a friend in Europe describing his travels and the new continent, which he called the "New World".

Naming
In 1507, German cartographer Martin Waldseemüller named the new continent "America" on a map, a Latinized version of Vespucci's name. The map is often called "America's birth certificate".

Legacy
Other cartographers followed Waldseemüller's lead, and the name "America" became standard on maps of the new continents. Vespucci's reputation as an explorer and navigator grew, and he was made master navigator of Spain in 1508. He died of malaria in Seville in 1512.

The earliest known use of the name America dates to April 25, 1507, when it was applied to what is now known as South America.[1] It appears on a small globe map with twelve time zones, together with the largest wall map made to date, both created by the German cartographer Martin Waldseemüller in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges in France.[12] These were the first maps to show the Americas as a land mass separate from Asia.

An accompanying book, Cosmographiae Introductio, anonymous but apparently written by Waldseemüller's collaborator Matthias Ringmann,[13] states, "I do not see what right any one would have to object to calling this part [that is, the South American mainland], after Americus who discovered it and who is a man of intelligence, Amerigen, that is, the Land of Americus, or America: since both Europa and Asia got their names from women".

America is also inscribed on the Paris Green Globe (or Globe vert) which has been attributed to Waldseemüller and dated to 1506–07: as well as the single name inscribed on the northern and southern parts of the New World, the continent also bears the inscription: America ab inuentore nuncupata (America, named after its discoverer).

The epic story of the map that gave America its name
3 July 2018

Madhvi Ramani
A few hundred years ago, when much of the world was mysterious and unknown, two European humanists came together to produce an extraordinary map of the world.

St-Dié-des-Vosges is a small, leafy town in the Meurthe valley in north-east France. It lies 68km south-west of Strasbourg in France, 93km north-west of Basel in Switzerland and 74km north-west of Freiburg in Germany.
