So Mark was right both Isaiah and Malachi did prophesied about Jesus.

What Isaiah actually said in Isaiah 40:3:
A voice of one calling: “Prepare the way for the LORD in the wilderness; make a straight highway for our God in the desert.
But
Malachi 3:1
“Behold, I will send My messenger, who will prepare the way before Me. Then the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple— the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight— see, He is coming,” says the LORD of Hosts.

"Behold i will send my messenger" is actually from Malachi not Isaiah!

Just to show you that Mark was right that the prophecy originally first came from Isaiah and Malachi only repeated it!

"Repent, for the Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.” John the baptist ~ Matthew 3:2

“Repent, for the Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near" Jesus of Nazareth ~ Matthew 4:17

If you look at the message it's John the baptist who first made this pronouncement so just as Jehovah's Witnesses keep saying God's Kingdom is near and critics are saying it's false prophecies as they are calculating the date the Jehovah's Witnesses started saying this forgetting that it's exactly the same thing John the baptist and Jesus of Nazareth said some 2,000 years ago.

So when Mark said it's Isaiah's prophecy he was right because Isaiah first said it!
