Three people served as Director of National Intelligence during the first Trump administration. Even if she survives in the position for the next 4 years (& she can only do this by fully kowtowing to Trump), there will be no future for her political career after that.

The Republican Party leadership will shed the MAGA ideology like dead skin before the end of Trump's tenure. It's not a winning ideology if your candidate is not Donald Trump .

Thats how almost all appointment have been for both parties Nobody takes its further as a career even collin Powell or Condoleezza Rice didn't after their appointment. The remembrance and relevance is their performance and achievement during their appointments which makes them stand out.

Dear everyone, please, i won't be doing this if only there's a glimmer of hope. please forgive me, but it seems that I have no choice. I'm typing this with tears in my eyes and with a very heavy heart. I'm doing this for my little girl who is asthmatic, I have exhausted my savings to buy her Seretide inhaler but at this point it has become too expensive to afford. I work two jobs to provide for my family but it never seem to be enough and as it stands I have exhausted all channels with which I can borrow money to buy it.
