I really don't blame Wike in that regard. Nobody would face that kind of betrayal and won't go mad. All the Southern governors agreed they'd support only Southern candidates. Northern governors also agreed power should return to the South. Why would Atiku go against that using some stupid Southern governors?

emotional don't work in politics. I'm not supporting Atiku but let me be frank with you. Despite his might you called it, Atiku defeated him in primary last year, if Atiku decides to contest 2027, it will be so easy for him. Today Wike has no political influence like last year, most people sees wike as a betrayal. He can't even deliver his state in 2027 except he reconcile with Fubara which I don't see that happen. Fubara has already taken over structures in rivers by electing his local government chairmen working to solidifying his structures. Wike can't even deliver Abuja so what's his status? He will soon become a noise maker before 2027, maybe pdp decides to leave him to finish himself politically.

Tinubu could still have won 2023 even without Wikes help. In 2022 primaries, atiku couldn't have challenged wikes war chest, but he still won. He even bought over Wikes best friend, tambuwal. It is all about strategy, reach and experience, coupled with smartness.

PDP as it stands now can not kick Wike out because he has planted loyalists within the inner caucus of the party.

If PDP makes another mistake of fielding Atiku again in 2027, he will still fail woefully. Atiku is not a smart politician. It's better for him to take a bow out of politics. Or else, he will spoil the chance of PDP again
