You guys don't understand politics at all, this is the plan, to push Atiku into fighting for the ticket in 2027, Wike will mount small resistance but retain his ministerial position, then come next election, he get VP, and from there he will most likely be the first president from that area.

We all know that after 2027, it doesn't matter what Atiku says, nobody anywhere will give him the ticket in 2031.

How did Atiku’s magnanimity in supporting Obasanjo’s 2003 reelection translate into betraying the party?

2003 was the first time that Buhari ran for president as the northern candidate, after Atiku’s rejection of the solicitation.

Except he understands defeating a seating president is way more difficult, besides the biggest leverage he would have had was not getting involved, the fact that he is a cabinet member will greatly diminish his ability to fight the opposition.

And Atiku still have some loyal soldiers in pdp, considering his financial war chest, it's likely he will still get the tickets.
