GothamCities:
Antichristian, compare that to Isaiah 40:22

"He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth; its dwellers are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out"

This was written at a time when science said the earth was flat. Science was in error and Mohammed followed that error sheepishly.

Allah even thought that the earth was laid the same way a carpet is laid.
And who is the one sitting above the vaults/horizon of the earth?
How is the heaven spread like a curtain?

Alhamdulillah! Allah didn't say carpet! And the Bible verse you quoted didn't mention circle but vault or horizon!
Continue to lie with your guys!

How can Allah say the earth is a carpet? What type of reasoning is that?

The word like a carpet is the very word that insinuates that the world is flat like a carpet. Is the world a carpet that Allah would say the world is a carpet or you don't know what a carpet is again?
Can you show us the word like a carpet in Arabic?

Is bisāṭan like a carpet?

That was because Covid was a new disease and information about it was just evolving. However camel urine has been with us since forever and many studies have been conducted on it before they arrive at the conclusion and the recommendation
There are other research that proved camel's urine has anti-diabetic, anti-cancer, antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties. It also has hepato-protective and cardiovascular effects.

I don't drink camel urine and know no Muslims that do. You make the allegation against the generality of Muslims and cannot substantiate your claim.

Hehehe. The Bible verse I mentioned actually said "sphere" but it's rendered circle in English translations. This is the Hebrew interlinear attached. You still want to lie against the Bible because of your Quran? 😂

Where is "the earth is flat below"?
Qur'an 71:19
Sahih International: And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse

Pickthall: And Allah hath made the earth a wide expanse for you

Yusuf Ali: "'And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out),

Shakir: And Allah has made for you the earth a wide expanse,

Muhammad Sarwar: God has spread out the earth

Mohsin Khan: And Allah has made for you the earth wide spread (an expanse).

Arberry: And God has laid the earth for you as a carpet,

GothamCities If na me now i go don become liar! Show us where "The earth is flat" is above!
The earth is not a wide expanse. Allah did create the earth, so he didn't know. Let's bring out the Arabic word in that verse and break it down.

I hope what people seem to engage in for fun will not have regretted effects in the everlasting.

You know that word meaning is not taken in isolation in the Quran.

The Arabic term "بِسَاطاً" (bisatan), which translates to "an expanse," typically conveys the idea of a surface that is spread out for accessibility and comfort. It describes the earth as being extended and suitable for human habitation, without necessarily suggesting a literal "flatness" in a geometric sense of the earth.

Keep deceiving yourself. Your regrets in eternity is waiting if you reject the salvation of Christ today.

Bisāṭan' does not mean expanse. It's a deceitful translation. Imagine what you would have been saying if scientists have discovered that the earth was flat? You'll have been using this same verse to prove to us that your Allah is there true God. But you see, Allah didn't create the earth, so he thought it was like a carpet because the science of that time said so.

Perhaps you should translate بِسَاطًۭا bisatan with your arabic to English dictionary.
I elucidated what is meant in the verse, tell me do you prefer living on a steep and rough incline of a hill?

Your screenshot tells you bisatan has multiple possible translations depending on context but you rather turn of your reasoning.

Have you looked to find a direct translation from Arabic to English?

I used MetaAI like you and got similar but not the exact result you got. Do you feel all the possible translations were given by your method?

The word “بِسَاطاً” is derived from the Arabic root “بسط” (baṣṭ), which generally means to spread or extend.

Common Translations are:

Carpet: This is one of the most direct translations, referring to a textile floor covering.

Rug: Similar to a carpet but often smaller and used for decorative purposes.

Mat: A more general term that can refer to any flat piece of material used on floors,
including welcome mats or yoga mats.

Spread: In some contexts, it can refer to something that is spread out over an area, such as grass or flowers.

Blanket: While not a direct translation, in certain poetic or metaphorical uses, it may refer to something that covers an area like a blanket does.

In common usage, it typically refers to tangible items such as carpets or rugs found in homes.
In literary or metaphorical contexts, it may describe scenes like fields adorned with flowers or convey abstract ideas, such as the comfort associated with a home environment.

In the context of the verse where it is used what will be the meaning? Is the first part of the sentence outside the context ? ? ?
This is simple and not in anyway related to pooling the wool over your face.

Use an actual dictionary for your translation not Meta AI

Take your screenshot without your keyboard displayed.

You can translate the whole verse with your MetaAI and give me different from what I show you

My dear, cut the crap!

All these fluffy explanations on top of what? Someone says he has spread the earth like a mat, you're talking about comfort and flowery fields. The statement does not fit that context at all.

If Allah has said that the created the world as a bisāṭan', then we might say he meant he created it as a place of comfort. But he didn't say so. He said he laid it as a bisāṭan! What other things are laid other than a flat surface such as mat, rug, bed, table tops, etc. Please stop this deception and also stop thinking that you're talking to people who have no sense.

Are you saying that Muslims don’t drink camel urine to follow the recommendation Muhammad gave to some people in the Hadith?

AntiChristian just posted an article which states that Muhammad recommended camel urine to his companions who were suffering from abdominal pain but you want to come and do Taqiyya here grin

“The religious aspect of using camel urine in treatment comes from the fact that there has been convincing evidence that the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) suggested the use of camel urine to treat his companions who were suffering from abdominal pains at that time.”

Within the context if the verse what does bisatan mean not isolated meaning of the word? Going by your view which arabic word us translated as laid in the verse?

Singular interpretation give meaning outside the context and you can hold on to it as it appears to make you happy though you know the truth.

The truth is that the verse says all laid the earth as a carpet. This is consistent with all the transactions. You know better than your translators I suppose. How much Arabic do you even speak? Allah laid the earth as carpet, mat, rug an expanse. All means the same thing - he laid the earth as a flat surface. You know the truth but you'll want us to accept a lie.

In my view within the context of the verse laid focuses on placement and finality whereas spread emphasizes distribution and potential for ongoing action.

"we have spread” denotes that there is an action of extending or laying out something (in this case, possibly referring metaphorically to covering land with a carpet)

Is this your effort to parrying concerns that there is no translation of the meaning of the verse with laid as you said confidently before?

You act as if everything in the scripture is always literal. Do you understand the meaning and use of metaphor in scripture?

Do you identify metaphors in your Bible like that in Psalm 23:1?

Sure. Even metaphors are always logical, and are matched to the elements or objects they describe.

See for example:

Isaiah 40:22

"It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in;"

Look at the words bolded in the verse. The scientists argued against the earth being a circle at the time this verse was written. The only person who could have known that the earth is a circle before even science discovered it is the Creator of the earth.

Now, look at the words 'Stretch' and 'Spread' used for the heavens (universal sky), those words were not used for earth because its illogical to say the earth spread or stretched, even when talking metaphorically. When spread is used for earth in the Bible, it is used in relation to the inhabitants of the earth. For example "By him was the inhabitants of the earth spread about."

The heavens were said to be stretched and spread like a curtain in that verse. And indeed the heavens are actually stretched and spread. Scientists today believe it is infinite. That's a real spread or stretch.

Please just put your biases aside and make a good and honest study of the Bible as you have studied the Quran, you'll find out that only the Creator could do the things God did and said in the Bible.
