I have read Nostradamus prophecies and they do not come with detailed accuracies. Neither do they have a time when it will happen.
You may need to know more about prophecies. Even you can see somethings in your dreams that indicate your future, but you don't have the understanding of it. And the ones you have the understanding of may not come in full details. Things like this, be careful on criticizing them. Some people have spiritual gifts. Some are from God, some come naturally, some are from darkness.

Nostradamus was born in the Medieval times, and some things he saw in the future hasn't yet existed? For instance he predicted man would walk on the moon, during Nostradamus time it was impossible to travel to the moon because the technology hasn't yet existed for space travel. Yet he saw it. To him the visions would make no sense because he didn't know what it was, just like his predictions about wars and even 9/11 attacks he described skyscrapers as man made mountains because during his time there's nothing like skyscrapers or highrise buildings about 400 years ago. He described pilots flying jets as pig faced because of the oxygen masks they wore. To him he doesn't know what oxygen masks are? Some things he predicted is what scholars use in describing what he meant. Just like space 🚀 rocket he called it a long fiery stick...
What about the french revolution, he predicted every detail about it, and Napoleons invasion and exile would you call it just a lucky guess something he gave in detailed accuracy. I believe in Nostradamus predictions. They only thing as he said it can be stopped or altered.

My point is that they were not clear, neither were the days exact.
Prophecies are just like dreams. You must have dreamt about something that happened before and not like your dream depicted the event in 100% clarity.
