Many of your points are valid, but even the crypto (USDT) is not a properly backed-up financial security. Its long-term viability is still under review. So resting on that investment portfolio may not be the best option in the market.
It's way more secure and transparent than Tinubu's government plus it's secretly backed by USA and it's big fintech players that are determined to see that USD remains the global currency.

Again, one has the flexibility to manage one's investment...i.e you can easily terminate your usdt investment and convert to another crypto at very short notice.

What will you do by the time Tinubu government defaults or gets uprooted by revolution or military due to the senseless corruption, nepotism and hardship and chaos he's causing everywhere?

LOL...Most of the taxes goes into private pockets. Plus...do you pay TV Licence, council tax, even income tax that eats half your income?

If you do that, now we dey talk. But we don't.

My tax is not up to 20% of my income. If I was in Denmark or germany, na 40% of my income minnimum it go eat.

Tinubu has been told to santise the thing, but since he is part of them (alpha beta), plus he does not want to lose elections, he takes loans instead, to hide our embarassment.
you make sense sometimes and you sound like an average ignorant illiterate Nigerian sometimes too. Which taxes goes to private pocket? All over the world, any money government spends Is tied to a particular project or purpose, nobody is looting anything, I dare say that the margins on the contract awarded in Nigeria is child's play compared to contracts awarded by government in so called saner climes, I'm sure to you those countries are perfect. Since Tinubu became president, show us proof that he has spent money without it being tied to a project or a purpose, show us proof that he ' looted '. Average Nigerian does not want to pay tax and they don't want government to borrow to augment expenditure, maybe government should manufacture cash from thin air.

Loot what? You illiterate just open your wide mouth to write trash, nobody loots cash, every cash the government spends is tied to a project, wetin una sabi other than writing trash on the Internet. Its common knowledge all over the world even in the so called saner climes that Government projects are always inflated, are you also going to accuse UK and US government of looting? Show us proof that Tinubu has 'looted' money since he became president illiterate.
You're a fool so I won't blame you. James Ibori did not loot cash. Lucky Igbinedion did not loot cash. Dansuki did not loot cash.

15 trillion for a coastal road project when 90% of existing federal roads are completely destroyed and you're still looking for evidence.

When government deliberately inflates projects and goes to meet the contractor through the backdoor to collect the extra on top like Ganduje the dollar stuffing in agbada thief, it's not corruption and the funds are not being looted

Calling you stupid is criminal offence. You're beyond stupid for justifying corruption

your father is stupiid for birthing a fhool like you, show us proof that Tinubu 'looted ' in the past year. Coastal road is a viable project and its ongoing, half of the 15 trillion has not even been released to the contractor, you're an illiterate Nigerian who thinks he's smart, you know nothing. If the coastal road was being undertaken in so called saner climes, do you know how much would have been appropriated for it? Let me ask you a question idiiot, if you become president today and you feel Tinubu stole money, will you present the coastal Road project which is a perfectly legal and viable project as evidence fooool? What will you tell the judge? That Tinubu awarded project, and it means he stole? Maybe we should start arresting governors, fomer governors and fomer president for awarding projects, idiiot buffon.

Anytime I hear 'new taxes' I want to laugh.

70% Of Nigerians eligible for taxes don't pay taxes. A lot of them think they pay taxes, but it goes into a black hole of corruption. Our tax to gdp is lower than even Niger Republic.

And it has been going on for decades. Our leaders take loans in part because they do not want to santise the tax collection system...because it means taxing very poor Nigerians. It also means sanitsing the black holes...which a good number of them benefit from. Not going to win votes. Not going to keep the Swiss account as fat as a 600 Pound human. That is a big reason why Tinubu takes loans. If he did the right thing, he would get kicked out of office. straight. He would also be making life difficult for a lot of big people.

Sane nations tax everything. IN the UK....as a foreign resident, you still pay tv tax, radio tax and council tax. That is as a foreign resident. I never talk citizens...you pay all that plus income tax. That is a big part of how they get billions to loan us out of our sorry asses.

Nigeria is a broke ass country. I always laugh when people say we need to fight corruption, (and yes, we need to fight corruption), but before corruption, our budget was 35 trillion naira. For 200 million people, that is DARN TOO SCANTY. At the end of the day, the thieves come and steal out of that tiny sum, and thus we get bad government....but even if we stop stealing, we get work to do.

The funny thing is that people will start shouting at me and calling me agbado. Make dem continue. Truth is BITTER.

Good afternoon, my daddies, mothers, brothers, and sisters on Nairaland Forum.

Please, I need your help.

I'm using this medium to appeal to everyone that comes across this post to consider me, please. I'm not going to lie so I can be pitied, so I'll just be completely honest.

I'm here to beg so I can get something to eat. Any good person should help me with anything he or she can; I'll appreciate any amount, please.

I'm begging everyone in the name of God Almighty. I've exhausted every option I have, and that's why I'm here now. I have not eaten anything since yesterday morning. This is due to the fact that I was evicted from where I was squatting. I have been running helter-skelter looking for where I can get a temporary place to stay.

Please, I am totally broke. I don't have any money; I will appreciate it if anyone can help me with any amount just for me to get something to eat today. Please don't let me die of this hunger! I swear to God Almighty, I've never done this before, and this is the last thing I want to do, but I have no other option now.

Please have mercy on me and help me.

My bank details are:

We need to fight corruption FIRST.
If we don't sanitize the system, forget any other story. Every effort will be for naught.

The problem is where do we start? Who is going to lead a genuine anti-corruption crusade? Certainly not these crop of reprobate politicians that benfit from the status quo. It just seems hopeless. Sometimes, I wish we were still under colonial rule...

leave them they're all idiiots. In there mind they're tax free. Nigerians are some of the most exploited and gaslighted people on earth.

idiiots, we pay tax too very well in Nigeria. Nigeria isn't tax free. But it's stolen so you think you don't pay tax.

Somebody exploiting you wouldn't want you to know

No country funds budget with tax. Tax in the uk for Social benefits for the poor. while Nigeria leaders use tax money to buy houses in Dubai.

Our tax to GDP ratio is 10%, china is 11%, almighty US is just at 16%

Nigeria is broke ass because it's unproductive and being exploited by bad leaders and filled with stuppid people like yourself.

liar no country pays 40% minimum as income tax. Tax is dependent on income the higher your income the higher the tax. And there is what they called tax bracket. If you're earning low you don't pay income tax.

Nigeria income tax is at 24%. You're earning 20k apc wages and you're talking of tax. Those earning over 500k are paying income tax. We pay over 11 tax in Nigeria. Vat, customs, property.

Just because you've never bought a land before or shipped anything from abroad in your mind you'll say, we don't pay property tax or custom taxes. They only pay such in the UK or Germany

That how you and other foolish Nigerians keep fooling themselves. Nigeria is just a fools paradise.
