Gani Fawenhinmi,Femi Falana and Festus Keyamo never built up their legal CV by content creation or asking their clients to put out false content by celebrating a court case adjournment.
They built their reputations on arguing and winning cases in court and in the case of Fawenhinmi writing various legal books still used by lawyers up till today.

You need to know how Gani a "baby" lawyer as at then, had to fight the old order before he could publish his Nigerian law reports. Or how Falana represented radical Fela and fought the military regime alongside Nadeco... Keyamo slept in prisons too due to his Maverick stands. Most notable was his representation of Fry-o, the person of interest in the Bola ige murder case.
Deji is representing a radical VDM in contemporary times and has represented quite a number of people Pro bono and going against Dinosaur Falana as a "baby lawyer'.

There's a pattern, and he's doing it right.

Or you encourage your client to libel and defame other people's reputation with impunity. Let the case continue to the logical conclusion. This is a marathon case not a 100 metres dash.

While I agree with you that vdm is doing right by making people accountable for their actions, it should not be at the expense of others. What he did to the falanas was clean, clear defamation. If in doubt go and watch the video, set aside your emotions. His statements over the audio tape is the issue. The allegation made by Bob in the audio is another matter entirely.
Falana has built his reputation over 40years, his kids are also building theirs, surely they will not let someone cast doubt on that image without seeking redress.
The falanas graciously and without malice gave vdm the opportunity to apologise and let bygone be bygone, he rather made deflective statements saying he will not defame his "uncle falana" or his family, that was not a clear apology. Supprisenly, the same vdm demands people make amends after calling them out, but when it is his turn, he cannot eat the humble pie and do the same.
Anyway, it is the right of vdm not to apologise, it is also the right of the falanas to seek redress if they feel defamed, let the court settle it. Of course to show no malice the falanas did not seek a criminal route which they claim exist, just as that erisco fellow did with that lady, but rather chose the civil route.
As I said earlier this is not emotional but simple legal process, when the lawyers see themselves in court, them go greet even share shayo together as no be fight.
As for deji, of course it will help the reputation of his chambers, it even pays him not to give vdm proper advice as the more noise, the more popular he becomes. Vdm though should note his lawyer was just called to the bar 1or 2 months ago, normally new lawyers attach themselves with chambers for few years to build up experience.
Finally, if you have had some experience with legal issues in naija, you will know that a good lawyer is one that settles your issues without you ending in court.

See as the Falana's showed wisdom knowing that the matter is no where near to being set down for trial. If he continues this way, he will finish his money on flight tickets.

.but this contex is different ...u came quoting in a comment where I said VDM can sue for his legal cost provided he wins...so U cannot ask the court for legal cost incurred when you are still running the cost because u technically don't know the damages because the case is still on going...such damages isn't even valid for asking until the defendant(VDM) wins.

.......it's is usually a separate suit/claim after the verdict of the original suit is reached.
