IMF did not check the end of the tunnel. They should go and check there, maybe they will see some improvement there. |

It's no mystery that Tinubu doesn't know his left from his right. |

Someone is actively destroying the country and economy and he’s calling it much needed reforms. It’s only in Nigeria that things have to go really bad before it gets better. They ask the people to bear and make sacrifices but they (politicians) live large, yet we have some people that may or may not be benefiting anything from these politicians supporting them. |

Hmmmm... You'd know the external forces working to hold this country down are not doing too much to achieve that, only need to have the wrong guys in office and all their wishes are met. If not so, how can you explain this? These neo-liberal economies would tell our headless leaders what to do, because they have white skin, our leaders take everything hook, line and sinker - they'd implement, throw their people into poverty net and the same institutions come back to tell us how that policy is not working. They told us this many years down the line when IBB and Olu Falae promoted SAP and forced it down our throats - they said it failed because it was not fully implemented(as Farooq Kperoggi recalled in one of his articles). I wonder which part of the SAP was not implemented. It's high time we started arresting those good for nothing economists who come on air to preach the benefits of a policy and they turn out bad for our country. The same advice that Indonesia and Malaysia turned down from IMF and World Bank is the same policy our government rushed to swallow. We know where those countries are today and look at where we are. No nations survive multidimensional strain like Nigeria is facing. As a Nigerian, I've had the foretaste of what Hell feels like, I want God to remember this face and save me a place in paradise. |

It is clear... When reforms are not targeted at increasing purchasing power of the masses and reducing cost of living, they cannot have the desired impact. It is glaring that BAT and his accomplices are just parroting reforms and throwing dry bones to the masses to gnaw on while they feed fat on the flesh. Projects do not align with socio-economic needs. The government introducing reforms does not adhere to its own reforms. Bat preaches need to tighten belts but keeps indulging in excesses. The only thing Bat focuses on is how to corner more resources to himself and cronies. Interests rates are at an all time high. Close to 40%. How would SMEs survive? I recall in 2014 when buhari & Bat where deceiving themselves and made beverages with satchet milo and milk which cost about N20 each at the time. Today, those satchets cost around N300 each. That is over 500% increase in 10 years. No peacetime country has witnessed the kind of inflation we have in nigeria. |

Bobloco:Everybody knows this TRUTH, even people in / friends of government that are close enough are singing same songs. Tinubu is not what Lagos media hyped him to be. No verified school from primary to University. Enjoy your renewed hopelessness, Nlfpmod. . |

Getting your life together, and I mean really getting it together, should be a priority of yours. You can’t miss out on your life by staying in a pattern of losing it all, pulling it together as quickly and as carelessly as you can, and then losing it all again because you weren’t ready enough or devoted the first time. I made a choice to pull my life together when I was 18, and I’ve stayed improving myself ever since; I bettered my mental health, fixed my body, changed my mindset, found an aesthetic and style that worked for me and that I loved, and have done my part to keep steadily improving my life and my mindset. If you are devoted to yourself and your life, you will do well and find that the path towards your future will become much clearer as time goes on. |

When a country of 220 million people make a thug turned ex-druglord their president, what exactly did they expect, a paradise on earth? |

When food is coming from the north, the amount of police and army checkpoints you need to settle sometimes amounts to 1 million naira, with lowest being 700k (if you’re lucky) Obviously all that will be added to the price of whatever food the trailer was carrying. No economic policy can remedy that one. I guess IMF didn’t account for corruption when implementing policies. Economics don’t work here. Nothing works here. |

Who actually read that shit above? You don't fvcking need to read any epistle to know that Nigeria is regressing economically. Only greedy batstards in government will have a different opinion. It's well though. |

IMF is one of our biggest problem. Today they say we are in the right direction, tomorrow they say we are not. With respect to Nigeria, IMF is confused. |

The sooner the federal government realizes that the IMF prioritizes its own interests, the better it will be for all Nigerians. You can't rely on a loan shark to teach you how to save. |

IMF with double mouth. Same IMF that say this reform is best ever happen to Nigeria and has to continue for 10years to be sustainable. Now they are changing goal post. Though I don't blame them, I will only blame Tinubu, for his dogmatism following IMF |
