While I am not a fan of Nigeria and I have said it many times, running away means that we are cowards. The society we run to, people built them, right? Imagine if they all ran away back then?
This is why I love Trump. He has said it, go home and fix your countries. some of u will support useless politicians becus of tribe and run away and be in the UK and be supporting rubbish.
I hope they keep maltreating Nigerians shaa until we learn to have sense.
you are very funny

The same Trump that want to grant H1B visas anyhow to top grads and STEM people?
You don't know the game Western Countries are playing

Because of Africa's foolishness, they will keep clandestinely poaching our very good hands en masse, some riff raffs will slip through the cracks, they will create anti immigration rhetoric, pursue the riff raffs and then keep the highly skilled ones

It's in their interest to play that game. and looking at the sheethole state of Africa, most professionals will rather stay and slug it out in the west than come back

They know how they are playing their "anti immigration " rhetoric
They no mumu like Africans

Whats the difference between mortgage and credit?
Mortgage - repayment inclusive of interest for a fixed period of life. The house is pledged as collateral. Complete ownership is accomplished when fully paid. Mortgage generally is meant for landed properties.

Credit - an advance or loan to be repaid through regular installments. The repayment period is shorter. The item for which the loan is used is not taken as collateral.

How do you stay back and fight in a country where the criminals you want to fight are fully armed?

How many protests have you joined and organised in Nigeria since you have enough money?

People like you will never really fight for a better Nigeria cos you're too comfortable.

Fixing Nigeria will require bloodshed. A lot of people will need to die. Properties will need to be destroyed. And from the ashes, a new Nigeria will be reborn where all elected politicians are fully answerable to the citizens.

Are you ready to support and sponsor such efforts?

People with zero economic, military and political power cannot stay and fight in a rotten country like Nigeria.

Let them travel outside and build their economic power. Tomorrow they'll be able to fund any serious effort to make Nigeria better.
your paragraph 1 is not even the issue
How can you fight for a people where the MAJORITY don't see anything wrong with the status quo ?
I remember EndSars period
Hear what that Nigerian masses were saying about the protests.

It's not about the gun or bullets, its the mentality of the people. Many of them are too miseducated, bad culture, love for oppressor religion and tribalism

Many defend tinubu today because they see it as their duty to defend the honour of their tribesmen
If another man with the different ethnic group was doing same thing tinubu is doing
Their mouths would have been wagging

These are the issues

That's why the Professional class largely excused themselves and left the country

THE UK ANNUAL BUDGET IS 2 TRILLION DOLLARS.

NIGERIA’S ANNUAL BUDGET IS 30 BILLION DOLLARS.

STOP COMPARING APPLES AND ORANGES.
You are right, and UK politicians are 90% corrupt, while in Nigeria, the politicians are just 0.1% corrupt. UK has lots of mineral resources while Nigeria can only boast of human resources. Let them stop this needless comparison jare. Nigeria is far far better than UK.

Govt have a role to play but these are private sector driven. Besides the average Nigeria is not a good debtor. There are many reasons why these cannot work for the average Nigerian. You're just affected by a "system". It is what it is.
I pray, for the sake of the future of Nigeria, that the "system" gets better 🙏

How can the house be pledge(use) as collateral, when you are not the full owner?

What's the meaning of the bolded, pls?

Okay. The bank loan is accessed only by government wokers? Can a private worker get bank loan?

Is the loan specifically for only building of houses or you can use the money to do other things?

Pls i want you to answer that my last paragraph in my first mention that i tagged you.

And why are you using that sad emoji?

While I agree with some of your points, I still feel the truth should be revealed.

He took a mortgage that will take a large fraction of his monthly/annual income spread over 20 - 30 years depending on how quick he is able to fully repay his debt.
It's not as if you'll just wake up one morning, pack all your savings to buy car and build house, where will you even get such money from in 3 years?.
He should enjoy his "success" and hope not to lose his job for whatsoever reason.
You don't have to agree with the statement partly. That's the gospel truth. Those loan or mortgage facilities are available in Nigeria but not functional. How many people are benefiting from that? But here, a recent immigrant within 3 years in the UK can be proud of benefiting from the working system some patriotic citizens put in place.

Nigerians troopinng out have realized that the country is irredeemable, and instead of hanging on till death, it's better to seek help else where for themselves and family. Those individuals that are not bothered now are either in comfortable business/ work or stealing politicians. Even the stealing politicians know Nigeria is dead, that's why they keep their finances and build mansions outside the country.

I will never blame or criticize those who chose to japa to escape from this dungeon of a country.

I'm telling you Bro!
Who no go no go know!!!

What some people here do not know is that most of the people who have left Nigeria are prolly more patriotic than the ones in Nigeria and they're more of an asset to the country because of the fx they generate through funds transfer.
The only reason why people are leaving in droves is because of the working system over there.

Do not be deceived, most of the Nigerians that are still resident in Nigeria is because either they don't have the funds to travel yet or they haven't gotten the opportunity to.

The house is used as a means of comfort so that if there's default in payment the mortgagor can repossess. Remember that the mortgagor paid for the full value directly or indirectly and allowed the mortgagee to pay iinstalmentally.

The primary qualification in credit of this nature is the person's credit rating and regularity of income. The lender is not primarily focused on reposseion when in default. That's why credit can be taken to buy household items eg electronics which can easily spoil.
