Good things are universal...it attracts no matter the language,if the new scripts are good not some woke bullcrap that will play a black man in a white man epic role..or scrub LGBTQ themes in our eyes and not yhe ideal real world ..the remakes are remakes of good movies not bad ones..by the time they are done with doing all remakes I wonder what they will have to make again.

Dude, it's literally not called an adaptation for nothing, majority of the characters in the MCU have been blackwashed or watered down to be more relatable. Why I say it's downright misogyny is because y'all pick and choose because we have underdeveloped male characters in movies of the early 2000s but I never see y'all coming for them, The Rock and Jason Statham literally have a "no loose" clause on their contract so that they won't be seen as weaklings in movies, how on earth are those relatable or developed as characters? But when it's women doing the same thing, y'all get your pants in a twist, it's sexist plain and simple, if characters like Xena or Ellen Ripley of alien came out today, you will definitely call them woke. Ellen survived when big strong men couldn't and Xena was already overpowered at the start of the series, dey calm down with your misogyny abeg

Oga, most new movies aren't woke even if it's a term you bigots continue to bastardize, the creator wasn't woke, the fall guy with your generic white male lead was far from woke and both still flopped. The thing is existing IP's can be trusted more compared to new ideas due to the fact that these new movies are indeed new and in this economy, people don't have or want to throw their money supporting something that may not continue, it's common sense

they are supposed to be in Sony verse. Spiderman movie right is owned by Sony but they allow marvel to use the character but some of his other villains and characters are still under Sony, so they have the right to use them however they like.

Okay, I understand now... Sony Studios and Marvel Studios doing their things with Marvel characters.

Sadly, Sony has really made a mess of their franchise.
