Gbadebo19:1. I never shouted Allahu Akbar or demanded sharia anywhere. So, how come you're saying I shout and demand such? 2. I never condemned Israelis and zionists removing flags from the homes of Amsterdam residents. I only pointed out that you don't disrespect your host and then begin to scream victim when they retaliate. 3. I never said anything about freedom of religion and did not use it to validate anything. That said, you have been raging mad on this thread since yesterday or so. You came in with insults and has been insulting everyone ever since. I hope all is well? Is everything okay? You better say what is paining you because all isn't clearly well with you. |

motayoayinde:Read the text I quoted again. Do it slowly this time. Equating Western colonialism to the Russian presence in Syria is abhorrent. The crux of this negative coloring is Russia failing to intercept Israeli air attacks on Iranian proxies. Put simply, Russia is a bad guy because it isn't protecting Iranian proxies from Israeli attack. Yet, somehow you're miffed I introduced Iran into the discussion. How can you possibly extricate Iran from this topic? I'm all ears. Assad called Putin to save his government. He's done that. Now some are demanding Putin jeopardize that mission to protect Iranian smuggling routes. Make that make sense! Oh and the best part, Iran doesn't have to do sh*t. It does not have to take responsibility for its interests in its own sphere of influence. You swooped in to defend the Mullahs without having a full grasp of what the conversation is about. To reiterate, anyone who thinks Russia should be doing more in Syria should first forward a request to Tehran. If you think Russia is behaving like a colonist in Syria, go get Iran to take Syria's defensive duties off Russia's plate. It's that simple. Lastly, the cost of gasoline in Iran is N35 per liter for the first 60 liters. N70 per liter afterwards. Population: 90m. Export: 1.3 mbpd. Meanwhile in Russia, the cost of gasoline is N900+ per liter. Population: 150m. Export: 6.5 mbpd. Or maybe you think Russians do not like cheap gasoline. Or you think corruption is an excuse to be economically inept. Using sanctions as a get-out-of-jail card is old news. China buys all their oil. China and Russia can provide all the tech they need to massively increase their export output and China and India will buy every drop they drill. Anything else they want to export, they could reroute through BRICS. The daughter of Huawei's Chairman lost her freedom for Iran. And their sphere of responsibility is not global. It's Iran. Iraq. Syria. Lebanon. Yemen. Finito. No one is asking them to build a blue water navy with aircraft carriers. No one is asking them to lead the space, AI, or robotic races. Just take care of your own sh*t. Take the lead in protecting your interests on your lawn. But you're going to contort yourself to absolve the Mullahs who have been in power for 50 years. If the Mullahs have done well, then Russia has far exceeded its mandate. We should be uniform in our appraisals. -Lord |

Lawag3:you mumu no dey do?. When Russia invaded Ukraine what happened to Russia?. It was banned from world events and also sanctioned. It is UN policy and almost every nation's policy to isolate any country that commits aggression, genocide, massacre etc. Unfortunately because this is Israel they look the other way.

Lawag3:you know nothing about international relation. It is not about who attack first. First all, what you posted is Western media narrative. Ukraine started first by violating regional conditions not to join NATO. I'm not giving Russia any excuse but Ukraine started it. I even heard today again. With respect to Israel-palestine, Isræl started it. The problem didn't start on Oct 7 2023. UN recognizes Israel is the occupying power which is in violation of Palestinians. UN has asked Israel to end the occupation but it refuses to do so. It is UN policy that occupied people have the right to resist occupation and the right of Palestinians to return to their homeland (Israel) according to UN General Assembly Resolution 2625 and 194. Go and educate yourself buddy and stop defending fake people.

shoodboi2:Something is biting you. Your response shows it. No one is accusing you personally of shouting Allahu akbar or demanding Sharia. You clearly don't understand simple A to Z, or simple guilt conscience is your problem. |
| Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Gbadebo19(m): 5:34am On Nov 17, 2024 |
Empiree:Stop the BS about western media narrative. Wherever you read news from is in no way better than the so called western media narrative. Everybody puts out his own position and narration, you don't determine the truth simply because you are sympathetic to one or another. You failed in your first sentence by saying Ukraine violated regional conditions. You don't use that rubbish narrative to prove a point. Ukraine is currently not an official member of NATO. I understand what you might think that all indications point to Ukraine about to join NATO but still as long as it is still not yet an official member, it is invalid to use it to justify Russian aggression. This is one of the reasons why USA is still always wrong about the Iraqi invasion. They "believed" Iraq had nuclear weapons. Same thing here, Russia "believed" Ukraine was joining NATO. If we castigate USA for the Iraqi invasion, why are we justifying the Russian aggression. Two wrongs cannot make a right. |

Empiree:I can't agree with you. For the purpose of records, everyone is aware that Israel maintained its borders upon the creation of the Israeli state. Everyone also knows that the recurrent attacks from Palestinians relying on Muslim countries support who were against the creation of Israel is the reason why Israel has continued to push back, seize territories that were not part of the Israeli state as at inception, which is what gave birth to the term "occupation." I really can't understand where you driving at but Palestinians or whoever you call them are the real trouble makers. You can't keep attacking a country and when it defends itself and pushes you back, you begin shouting occupation. It ain't logical at all. |
| Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Lawag3: 6:04am On Nov 17, 2024 |
Empiree:You know I love schooling you. First of all Ukraine is a sovereign nation and can do whatever it thinks are in its best interest so your violated regional conditions doest mean Russia has the right to attack Ukraine. You forget that the UN approved the partition plan that created the modern state of israel. Than just days after the declaration of independence by the Israelis the Arabs attack Israel so yeah they began it even in 1945. They lost the war and sometimes losing wars comes with losing land. Again deafeted Egypt and Jordan in another war and they gained Gaza from Egypt the West Bank from Jordan. Is this true or false. Russia you're are defending took Crimea from Ukraine in 2014 and even now has captured more lands from Ukraine. Fake people? Palestinians that doest have an ancient history. Now tell me the capital of Palestine then when they were not under any foreign control. Tell me one ruler of ancient Palestine tell me it's currency. It's religion I can tell you the Jews own. Capital- Jerusalem Ruler /king - David Solomon rehoboam jeroboam Ahab etc Language -Hebrew Currency - The Shekel. Sister rest. The people of the state of israel is older than your religion. |

jjj37:You asked for it, I have the time to tell you. 1. On this thread, I wrote about the existence of the military doctrine of necessity and it's existence in the Geneva convention and also gave a practical example of how it can be applied. The people leading you astray daif I was wrong and it doesn't exist, and just yesterday, I proved myself. Check my posts. 2. On this thread, I wrote about how slavery was already existing in Africa before the white men came and joined the trade and that the white man did NOT start slavery in Africa. I also made reference to a powerful certain woman of ancient Ibadan known as Efunsetan Aniwura who had over 2000 slaves and even beheaded one just because she got pregnant which was against her decree. 3. On this thread, I wrote about the vast amount US gold reserves and even if the next 4 countries were to support Russia, the US would still remain a formidable force. 4. On this thread, I wrote about how the real problem of Africa is actually a case of dog eating dog and not the white man cheating us or anything but that we rather betray ourselves. Reference was made to the former Congo leader (Name forgotten) who was actually backstabbed by his fellow Africans and handed over to the Belgians. 5. On this thread, I wrote about how Russia actually wanted to colonize Africa and the reason was because of its failure and never because they liked Africans. I can go on and on..... Over to you, of what benefit have you been? |

jjj37:Jjj or whatever you call yourself. Let me teach you some life lessons. The fact that people do not agree with you doesn't mean you are not speaking the truth. Everything I ever posted here in regards of Israel, Palestine, Ukraine, Russia and the legal positions has always been the truth backed up by proof. What you choose to believe is none of my business, it doesn't change the fact that I am right and the people you choose to believe are leading you astray. You make your own choices and believe whatever you like, you shouldn't cry about western media oppressing you. It is nobodys business that you can't defend your position outside Nairaland and in intellectual discussions. Have a good Sunday morning. |

Gbadebo19:You forgot to mention the most important thing. More than half of the US gold reserves are from foreign nations. Same as the UK, Switzerland, France and other European powers. Argentina of recent moved their gold reserves to the UK. African nations, Latin American nations and some Middle East nations like Qatar, Saudi and co all have their gold reserves deposited in the United States. Take those out and what is left? Or are you hoping the US seize and steal them like they stole Russian money? |

LordAdam16:Your long epistle still doesn't address the false accusation your threw at the Iranian leadership, which is that: Iran can't protect its proxies because of corruption and expects Russia to do everything!!! And how the heck did you arrive at this? I'll remind you. Vic2023 posted the comment of a random person complaining about Russia not stopping Israeli attacks in Syria. Was that Pezekshian talking? Was that the spokesperson of the Ayatollah? Do you have any proof Iran ever asked Russia to go after Israeli jets in Syria? Come on bro!! If you must go Mullah-bashing (and we all do that here sometimes), let it have a reason and let that reason be valid and fair. And yes, the "Mullahs" have done very well for Iran in their 45-year-reign (not 50 as you claimed), making Iran a truly independent and self-reliant country. The US reminded the Saudis a few days ago that the kingdom will fall in two weeks without American protection. They're right. That would have been the fate of Iran if it was still run by the pro-west Shahs. In 45 years, the "Mullahs" have transformed Iran into an influential middle Eastern super power, having well-armed proxies in key places in the region fighting cruel western/Zionist imperialism and oppression. Cut the "Mullahs" some slack. Let your mullah-bashing be fact-based and fair. |

motayoayinde:You abandon the topic that kicked this off to yammer about an argument you made up in your head. For the umpteenth time, I responded to a comment equating Western colonialism to the Russian mission in Syria. And the fellow who put this out maligned Russia because apparently, Putin isn't doing enough to thwart Israeli attacks on Iranian proxies. Stick to the topic or get off my mention. If you ever get around to talking about that (not holding my breath), let us know who should be providing air cover for Iranian interests in Syria or Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. It's astonishing that you spend so much time typing rebuttals and somehow evade the very topic that's being discussed. All of this because of your obsession with wanting to defend an underwhelming theocracy. Again, stick to the topic or get off my mention. -Lord |
