As it is I can see the beginning of a decline if Trump gets his way and fills the government with sycophants rather than professionals. That imho is part of what has fked Russias military. They went from being literally broke to challenging the USA in a cold war. Nigeria and other African countries should be studying them along with Japan.

Russia is literally a gas station. Obama was shouting Assad must go in 2011 because Assad refused to offer his territory for Western gas pipeline project which will pass through Syria to Europe thereby cutting off Russian gas supply to the EU.
Russia went to Niger Republic to put an end to Nigeria gas pipeline project which will deliver Nigerian gas to the EU. Even now the EU is still buying gas from Russia.
Crimea alone is home to minerals worth 12trillion dollars. Donbass region is the most endowed region in Ukraine when it comes to natural resources & minerals. Gas, lithium, uranium, iron ore, titanium, massive deposit of coal etc.
Even Republican senator Lindsey Graham had to acknowledge that Ukraine is probably the richest country in Europe in natural resources. Thus the US, must continue to provide support to Ukraine because he doesn't want Russia or China to control those minerals.


So when Zelensky talk about Putin withdrawing troops from the annexed regions, I know say the guy never dey ready for negotiation.

You are right about Capitalism and how it has positioned America. Unfortunately capitalism comes with its attendant disadvantages one of which is not knowing where to draw the line as far as human greed is concerned.

I think that's America has been caught pants down on some issues where coubtries were turned upside down to further American interests. I think that's what fuel America(CIA) meddling in sovereign countries' internal affairs and going as far as effecting change in governments that don't serve American interests.

On the good side countries like South Korea who aligned with America have a good story to tell when their northern neighbors have had bitter stories to tell following the other lane.

I also never considered the impact location played in America having natural advantage against wars until u mentioned it now.

While every good thing has its disadvantages, I think the advantages of capitalism is way more than the disadvantage. When you study human nature carefully you will realize we are selfish, we will take everything for ourselves before we think of others, and when we think of others, mostly its in the context of how do they benefit us. There are some instances where America also just help you blindly, There are some diseases where America is spending billions and they don't even affect Americans. Almost 90% of the world get some form of aid from America
