APC as a party is so evil that it has corrupted every fibre of Nigeria as a country. No institution was spared in APC corruption movement. JUDICIARY, TRADITIONAL RULERS, RELIGIOUS LEADERS, INEC, POLICE, ARMY, MEDIA and Even SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCERS. Some are HERE DEFENDING EVERY OF APC EVIL Agenda being dished out to the public because they are on pay roll. Thank God I left Nigeria before the evil capture. I think a Zoo is a more decent place now compare to Nigeria.

huh Hi
onuman:
I said it earlier: head or tail, Apc must win.
The only business of APC leaders is use government instruments and institutions to win every election to drive Nigeria to become Islamic Republic of Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws.
APC copies the Taliban of Afghanistan. Taliban first placed its agents on the most important government posts in Afghanistan; many years after, it started the war for Afghanistan to be governed with Sharia criminal laws that include stoning blasphemous persons to death, stoning women to death for adultery, cutting out the hands of thieves, among other obsolete and painful punishment measures.
One of the earliest demands of the CJN, Tanko Mohammed, appointed by then President Buhari, was for Islamic sharia criminal justice system be included in Nigeria's Constitution.
grin foolish old man…this your propaganda is outdated, you should try and upgrade….in your foolish brain, Ondo state is now under sharia🤣🤣 a state that Christian constitute 98% of its population grin

No wonder your messiah the agulu fraud was caught on tape instigating a religious war, ipob retard from a cursed primitive region😂😂

Even an animal has a better working brain than what you have up there, an ethnic and religious bigot🤣🤣 busy body, don’t go and fix your barren region ruled by ibo Christian but yet still a pigsty and deserted piece of trash 😆😆

Who told that? He has the right to contest again.

Until socioeconomic issues like poverty and illiteracy are address ,I can never waste my time to go and vote again. The poor and the illiterate are the majority, let them keep collecting money and be voting people who only have a mission to loot with reckless abandon.Let the trend continue, no qualm.

How? When former President GEJ was sworn-in as the President after the demise of Late President Umaru Musa Yar'adua, he seeks for his own election which he got in 2011 but got defeated in 2015 after seeking for re-election. So, ho will Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa own be different?
I believed he completed his joint ticket term with Later Governor Aketi. Now, he's contesting freshly for his first term in office.
I seek for clarity from you, thank you sir.

Now the north has seen the true color of TINUBU,2027 will be very hot for the incumbent.

It's well! Yoruba people used to be intelligent both educated and non educated. But today, the reverse is the case. An elderly woman in Oka Akoko actually casts her vote for APC because of inducement, the APC agents refused to compensate the woman which resulted into fight. The incident happened at my pooling unit. When i was growing up as a little boy,we were taught to be contented with what we have. Today, elders who supposed to be role model to the young one are more corrupt. Maybe due to poverty in the land or what! What can 5k APC induced money buy in today's Tinubu regime. Truly, poverty is a disease
And PDP never induced voters with money? C'mon, we can all pretend like we don't know the reality. Both major leading political have been doing this since the 4th Republic started.
And we all know the party in power will have more financial strength, than some trying to find his way to begin his own stealing of our collective patrimony.
Had it been they're both trying to contest for the first time, the outgoing Governor won't like to take much gamble from what he has stolen, he man who's trying to succeed him will needs like 80% contributions to his own personal ambition. This is where Hon. Ajayi is at a disadvantage, 'cos Gov. Aiyedatiwa got direct access to State funds.
Because I know Hon. Alfred Agboola Ajayi is a grassroots man too.
Hopefully, he can now relax since Ajayi has been in the system since 1999. Gov. Lucky just came in 2011. 😆😊

The entire votes count not even reach 500k. Low turnout yet APC won and by the evening upto 80% of votes already on IReV for all to see. I know the losers will come up with accusations of electoral malpractices but it was glaring that no one is innocent of attempt to buy votes. As Ondo continues another 4 years of APC journey, I hope it favours them and their families.

The guy both of you quoted is absolutely right!
The governor had everything in his favour and one would expect him to easily win which he did.
He is from the zone that's supposed to produce a governor, he has only one term to use (desirable to opposition party hopefuls from other zones and even his own party men) and he is an incumbent.

The amended law was signed by Buhari in 2018, so it didn't affect Jonathan back then

4. "(3) A person who was sworn-in as Governor to complete the term for which another person was elected as Governor shall not be elected to such office for more than a single term". section 182. the constitution has been amended m he can only complete a term. This is his last term
Mr Enang also announced that an amendment to bill number 16, already assented to by the President, will now ensure that a vice President or a deputy governor who succeeds and completes the tenure of a president or governor can only run for the office one more time.

“The other one is Act or Bill number 16 which is now an act and the intent of that act is to ensure that where a Vice President succeeds that president and where a deputy governor succeeds a governor, he can no more contest for that office more than once more.

“And the fact is that having taken the oath as President once, and you can only contest for once again and no more. That is the intent of this amendment.”

Before this assent, such vice presidents or deputy governors, after completion of their predecessors’ term can run for office on another two terms.

This was the case with former President Goodluck Jonathan who succeeded President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua in 2010, contested and won the presidential election in 2011 and still contested same office in 2015.

The new law will prohibit this, Mr Enang announced.

It was assented to law under fPMB in June, 2018. Thank you for the information sir. God bless you sir!

Ayedatiwa had no opposition in this election. It was very glaring he would win hands down.

Infact no opposition in Ondo State at the moment.
We could see the toe to toe campaign in Edo and very close margin both candidates maintained before the final result but in this one, nothing like that.

No, he was sworn in as governor after the demise of his boss.

He would now be starting his second tenure and won’t be eligible to contest afterwards because he can’t be sworn in more than twice according to the new law
