In Nigeria, even with property as collateral, accessing bank loans for a tech startup can be tough if you don’t have consistent cash flow. Banks often want more than collateral. They look for proven cash flow, which many early-stage startups lack.

Have you or anyone you know successfully used a bank loan to fund a startup? How did you navigate the cash flow requirement? If not, what other funding options like grants, accelerators, or alternative lending platforms might work for someone in this situation?

Let’s discuss real-world experiences and practical advice to help aspiring founders access the funds they need!

I think the question is, Are the banks doing due diligence or just rejecting on the assumption that it's a potential failure, when it may be infact the next potential unicorn.
