I work for 7 hours(9am to 7pm) and I use 25k fuel and I still don't make up to 80k.
You can't even use 25k fuel straight for 7hours without putting off your engine in between the hours, it's not possible...

To make it make sense, how many hours will you drive from Lagos to ibadan( iwo road) none stop, it will take less than 4hours, does it mean you can use 25k fuel to and fro Lagos to ibadan since 7hours will cover the journey...

Some things are just not possible, but I don't want to argue it any longer since it's possible for few people...

You just agreed that bolt prices are now fixed
Bolt probably showed him 20k gross for an ETA of maybe 1hr 30mins but he ended up completing the trip in 3hrs yet the price remained the same
Doesn't your dull brain tell you that he definitely burnt more than the fuel he was supposed to?

Yet you said you will happily skip the trip. Be like you no go school.

I no even know where to start with to explain basic things to u. Even if I sew a page long thread trying to explain, u did still not understand. If u didn't understand a simple analysis then I can't help ur pity ass. The least u could have done is to try and debunk the fact one will used more than 20k fuel for 6-6 job. cos u can't change 3hrs X 4 = 12 neither can u change 25% of 80k. So what really are u opposing?
Why are u bringing lame assumptions? What makes u think the app thought it will take 1hr abinitio? If it wasn't worth it I will say it wasn't worth, he did a trip for 150mins which is 2hrs 30mins and made 20k, it's not great earnings but it's not bad either. If he didn't take a long trip, it will still probably take him 3hrs to make 20k so what noise are u making? . Yes, I will not take it cos I will make more in 3hrs but even a novice who did take it didn't make a bad earning.
The discussion isn't about bolt fixing prices as that is still subject to not experiencing unusual traffic on the trip. so don't try to change the goal post to sound Intelligent, u are very dense to the point of shale in d trenches.
This is the singular reason I don't reply idiots whose brains have been melted and drained out of their skulls. Empty and light headed f*cktards.

Boss, I'm just stating facts ni.

But some people talk say them dey use 20k fuel from morning till night and still gross 80k with it...

🤣🤣🤣

We need lie detector for this thread...

Good evening everyone, I have a proposal for car owners. I'm looking for a car on a monthly lease payment of 180k. I'll handle the periodical service, while the owner will take care of mechanical maintenance.

The car will not be used for e-hailing, so it won't endure rigorous use.

Quote me if you're interested for more details...

Nissan micra

Tell us d amount of fuel u used for the trip
Don't exaggerate figures.
Then If we agree that this was a bad trip, why do u want to extrapolate it to be your experience for the whole day?

Except you are a foolish goat, why will u agree to take a bad trip repeatedly 4 times?

I use a 1.8L motor from Europe.
Fuel economy is fairly ok for the cars age.
Most gas stations are selling bad PMS.

For lube change, manufacturer recommended 5W20 full synthetic; which I have been using for over 17 years.
10 months or 10,000km interval, whichever comes first.

I prefer Indriver for a vast number of reasons, most already discussed here in the past.

Second choice is Uber( targeting IJJB)

I detest Bolt and their riders. Lol 😂

Suzuki espresso, yaris, rio, CNG can give you more than 15 kilometres to the liter today. So with 20k worth of fuel you can comfortably do more than 200 kilometres in a city like lagos with such a vehicle.

Use the right tool and you'd see that making this money is childsplay wink

That's roughly 29mpg or 12km to 1L of fuel. You're right. Not many cars on ehaling will pull that off in a place like Lagos.
you are calculating base on the distance alone what about the time spent in traffic not covering any Kms but you are burning fuel running ac....... it's not about not many car....I can say no car unless many hybrid sha which I don't have a first hand experience about

Guy why you dey talk like this ........am I the one who was doing some foolish permutations on how it was still profitable at that price with the time and fuel spent...why are you saying otherwise and trying to put it on me, as if claim that's my whole day experience. Na you talk say even if that is your whole day experience it is still profitable for you.

Don't say such angry because you've not had first hand experience of using a fuel conservative vehicle doesn't give you the right to make sweeping assumptions.

Toyota yaris or even honda jazz/city can give you such mpg in case you don't know. I wont even talk of the ones with smaller engines like the suzuki etc. undecided

it can't I have first hand experience of both Yaris and jazz say something else the difference in fuel usage of my car and those you mentioned at the end of the day is always less than 5k fuel after the whole day work so I am saying those two can't

Okay. Is it the 1.6 or 1.8 litre engine type?

Modified

You can't compare a functional 1.3L or 1.5L engine vehicle to one with 1.8L. Their mpg difference will be glaring especially when they are running with installed thermostats and proper lubrication and spark plugs.

Even if you use a honda jazz or toyota yaris with abused mechanicals you will never get good mpg. Over 50% of ehailing drivers are just finding out the way they used to drive and the condition of their vehicle isn't optimal for the business any longer.

Don't fight it, learn and evolve/adapt or be left lagging behind. 🙂

Motivation ké undecided wetin concern me if you're motivated or not?

I'm just telling you that a sound 2004 toyota yaris or honda city will give you far better mpg than your 1.8L civic (which may or may not have a thermostat or maybe uses 20w50 oil) wink

It's something you can take or leave. Fact remains what it is . . . FACT
