My understanding of "supplementary" is a special consideration for cases that weren't captured in earlier deliberations. I stand to be corrected though. If this my understanding is correct, then I want to ask, is the gov now saying N485.63 billion is required for the remaining one and a half months before 2025 when another budget will be presented again? What is the earlier signed budget for the 2024 fiscal year that N485.63 billion is now required to address the deficit? |

Something is not right... N480bn+ supplementary budget when the whole 2024 budget for Edo State was N407bn? This should be a misrepresentation by the media... the actual supplementary budget should be about N80bn... What does the governor want to use N80bn for less than 60 days to the end of the year? |

Supplementary bill in late November? Naija politicians with their type of governances. What stop new gov to run the budget, till December and start afresh, by January or February? Anyway ,Oga will like to change things and skew them towards the lane, where state's resources will start drop to him and his goons' pockets. |

Richtaiwo:My governor CPS need a crash course on media engagement. How can supplementary budget will be as high as the initial yearly budget. Has you rightly said, supplementary budget should be an additional envisaged or identify area or problem to be solved and you raise a sum for it. Apc boast of great media personalities during the campaign and Okpeboho didn't find any of them fit for the all important job. Even the English from the end of the CPS letters are disgusting. That office is a sensitive one that promote the image of the government. The CPS has not be properly managing the affairs of the government. For now, he is the worst CPS Edo has gotten. Imagine my John Mayaki the CPS. |

GreyWolf01:At least, 40% of the state Budget will go for the settlement, and the governor will grab 40%, While only 20% is for Edo worker's salaries. 1% for the development of Edo. |
