Even though I'm a born again Christian, I have deeply been embarrassed by the myriads of nonsense spewed by so called Christain leaders recently to justify the scam called tithes. It's obvious to the blind that we Christians are gullible and our religion has been commercialized by these pulpit bandits parading as religious leaders. Sometimes I envy those Muslims because their religion is not money focused and not controversial like we Christians.

Most of the people criticising tithe are hypocrites and cowards. They mostly do it for traffic and attention sake.

You won't see them criticise evil excesses attributed to Islam (pedophilia, terrorism, and likes). This is about human LIFE!

but if you go to church and you didn’t give tithe or give offering did anybody ever insult or haras or even ask you for not giving, because you are talking as if you are being forced with police to pay tithe , and you equate it with Tax , if you don’t give any money in church who will know or have time for you

My own opinion on tithe is, our pastors should sensitize the congregation and not threatened them.



Telling people they won't go to heaven, they will go back to square, telling them things will be tight is unbiblical. God message is clear on tithe it is not what you impose on people


Tithe is very important to the church because no church can function without money and all that. Christains must be sensitize that payment of tithe is for the propagation of the gospel and to aid church activities and not having the impression that once they're paying tithe they get something in return, God is not a forex trader. There is no ROI for tithe, dangote is not paying tithe and his blessing had never stop


Christain must see tithe as aid to church and not return of investment

My bro, tithing is a LAW of YAHUAH engraved in the tablets of the heavens for His ordained priests. To do otherwise is to forsake His commandment so please be warned. The important question you should be asking is how should I pay my tithes and to whom.

These preachers feed on the poorly informed. How many of her listeners were gainfully employed? Tithe should be about donating 10% of one's savings after life-sustaining expenditures have been subtracted from one's monthly income. But these preachers would make members of their congregation bring even parts of their money for medicines, food, cliothing, shelter, school fees etc as tithe to the church. Thereafter, they tell members of their congregation that God will provide them with cure from their illnesses, provide them with food, clothing, shelter, school fees, etc.

Nowhere does the Bible makes it a compulsion for a Christian to pay tithe.
