Remember what I said about Russia garnering public sympathy from the rest of the world? When Biden administration announced approving long range strikes on Ukraine, people blamed Biden for inciting WW111. Go to all the pages that announced it. 98% of the comments there are blaming the USA for the war and for pushing the world to the brink of annihilation. Are you guys seeing what's happening? How Russia is reshaping the narrative and winning people to its side? Thats what Putin aims to achieve. Russia cannot win a war with NATO without support from the global south. Same as NATO. Imagine this. Russia invaded Ukraine but it is the USA that is blamed all over the world for it. It is the USA that is now being seen as a war monger pushing the world to destruction, is that not already a win for Russia and Putin? Putin is indeed a master at chess. |

Procashtips:If that was the case we wouldn't have these nonentities running amok on Nairaland singing praises of their masters (US & EU). The US killed millions in the middle east. Bombed weddings, parties, mosques, churches, schools, farmers, hospitals. Israel is still doing it till today but guess what? These cretins still see the US as God's own people. They see no wrong in what the West does. The US could massacre their whole family but they'll still defend and make excuses for them. They don't believe other races have the right to exist except the whites. They would kill and sell out their own country men just for a visa or a dollar. They're traitors and enemies of humanity. |

⚡ 2 undersea connectivity submarine cables have been cut in the Baltic Sea in the space of 2 days. Finland to Germany submarine cables cut ✂ Lithuania to Sweden underwater cables cut ✂ Remember what I told y'all about Russia's slow revenge? The West will lose 10 underwater infrastructure for every single Nord Stream pipeline blown up by the West. Russia is here is stay but can we say the same for NATO? There are already cracks in the alliance and only a matter of time before they start speaking out against the US. |

⚡Russia has begun mass production of mobile nuclear shelters for the first time. The production of innovative modular shelters "KUB-M" has begun in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod. They can be used to protect people from various threats, including the light radiation of a nuclear explosion and radioactive contamination of the area. "The start of serial production of a modular shelter is an important step towards increasing the safety of citizens. In the future, such developments will lead to the creation of new effective systems for protecting the population," says a statement on the VNII GOChS website. Rescuers note that this event was the result of many years of research and efforts by scientists in the field of protecting the population and territories from emergency situations.

Procashtips:I too was like them. I supported NATO's bombing of Libya in 2011 and France's interference in Ivory Coast election and subsequent assault on Ivory Coast, which also happened around that period. My eyes opened with the Syrian civil war, thanks to a research job I had at the time. My job then was to document history (especially wars, espionage, and other political issues) and the things I learned about the US were just off. At one point, I was even wondering whether the US was just bragging because how can you overthrow a country's president in a coup, cause wars, murder millions, and talk about it confidently and openly while laughing? Funny thing is that the US put these sorts of information on their government website. Even the CIA and FBI will sometimes publish them or release documents confirming what they did. I later realized that those documents and revelations are actually subtle threats to countries. The US is basically telling governments: "We've done it before, and we will do it again. And as usual, we will get away with it. So, do what we want, and we won't have issues." |

shoodboi2:Exactly, I used to be pro west before especially the USA. The incident with Jonathan and boko haram and the gay rights was my first eye opener, then I got interested in politics and international relations. When I entered school and we started international relations proper, the scales from my eyes fell and since then I've been widely awake and had to go back to several researches . The USA is the number one enemy of peace. Anywhere there's peace they will find a way to destroy the peace. They always pitch neighbors against each other. North Korea vs South Korea, India vs Pakistan, China vs Taiwan, Russia vs Ukraine etc the list is endless. Those who support the USA are either stack illiterates who think the USA is as strong as what they watch on Hollywood, those who want to travel to the USA and don't want their Visa denied, those who are living in the west and don't want to be deported, those who are irredeemable slaves and they all over this thread. |

Why Ukraine Might Fall to Russian Power: A Hard Look at the Reality The ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia has been one of the most tragic events of our time, with millions of lives affected, infrastructure destroyed, and the world watching as two countries collide. As Ukraine continues to resist Russia’s massive military force, the question remains: how long can Ukraine hold on? Despite the courage and determination of the Ukrainian people, there are growing signs that Russia’s power may eventually overwhelm them. The situation, though still evolving, suggests that Ukraine might ultimately crumble under Russia’s might. Here's why. 1. Russia's Military Superiority: It's Hard to Keep Up One of the biggest challenges for Ukraine is the sheer strength of Russia’s military. Russia has one of the largest and most advanced armies in the world, with modern air forces, missiles, tanks, and heavy artillery. Ukraine, despite its brave and committed soldiers, simply doesn’t have the numbers or firepower to match Russia. While they have done well so far, especially using clever tactics, Russia’s bigger, better-equipped forces are hard to fight off in the long run. Ukraine’s military is limited in resources and equipment, while Russia has an almost endless supply. If this war turns into a long battle of attrition, Russia can afford to lose soldiers and equipment and still keep fighting, while Ukraine’s resources are much more strained. Eventually, it becomes a question of how long Ukraine can last against such overwhelming odds. 2. Western Support Could Fade Over Time From the beginning of the war, Ukraine has relied heavily on support from Western nations, particularly the United States and European Union. This support has been vital, providing Ukraine with weapons, money, and political backing. But this help isn’t guaranteed forever. If the leadership in the West changes, or if the war continues to drag on, the support might lessen. While President Biden has been a strong advocate for Ukraine, future U.S. leaders might not be as committed, and that would leave Ukraine vulnerable. Europe too is feeling the heat. The war has caused energy crises, inflation, and political instability. As these issues grow, European countries may become less willing to support Ukraine at the same level. Without this critical foreign aid, Ukraine could find it increasingly difficult to continue its fight. The longer the war goes on, the more Ukraine’s reliance on external help becomes a risk. 3. The NATO Factor: Not As Strong As It Seems NATO has been an important ally for Ukraine, but it’s clear that the alliance is divided. While some NATO members, especially those in Eastern Europe, strongly support Ukraine, others—like Germany and Hungary—are much more cautious when it comes to confronting Russia directly. These divisions make NATO’s support less reliable. Some NATO members fear that escalating the conflict could lead to direct confrontation with Russia, even nuclear war. Moreover, NATO has avoided invoking Article 5, the mutual defense clause that would commit all members to defend Ukraine if Russia attacks. This shows that NATO is hesitant to take the situation beyond diplomatic support, leaving Ukraine exposed to Russia’s full might. The hesitation among NATO countries to act decisively and send advanced weaponry means that Ukraine might not get the kind of support it needs to truly tip the scales in its favor. 4. Ukraine's Economy: Struggling to Survive Ukraine’s economy was already weak before the war, but now it has been almost destroyed. Cities have been bombed to rubble, factories shut down, and critical infrastructure has been crippled. Ukraine relies heavily on its agriculture, but much of its farmland has become a battlefield, further reducing its economic capacity. The country is now surviving on loans and foreign aid, but that’s not sustainable for long. The longer the war drags on, the harder it will be for Ukraine to support its military and rebuild its economy. Inflation is soaring, and the value of its currency has plummeted. Without foreign help, Ukraine could face a complete economic collapse, which would severely undermine its ability to continue resisting Russian advances. 5. Internal Divisions: A House Divided While many Ukrainians have united in the face of Russian aggression, internal divisions remain, especially in the eastern parts of the country, where pro-Russian sentiments run deep. Corruption has been a longstanding issue, and it’s possible that the massive influx of foreign aid could be mismanaged or diverted. If people lose trust in the government or if the political situation becomes unstable, it could further weaken Ukraine’s ability to hold the line against Russia. The longer the war goes on, the more the country could face internal unrest. People may become frustrated, especially if they feel the government isn’t doing enough to protect them or rebuild the country. In times of prolonged conflict, this kind of political instability can weaken the national unity that is so crucial in times of war. 6. War Fatigue: How Much More Can the People Take? The psychological toll on the Ukrainian people is immense. Millions have been displaced, and those who remain face constant fear of bombings and airstrikes. The war has claimed thousands of lives and caused untold trauma. Over time, it’s easy to see how people might become worn out, both mentally and emotionally. The longer the war continues, the harder it will be for the population to stay motivated and keep supporting the fight. If civilians grow tired of the war or feel like victory is no longer possible, their support for the government and military could diminish. This could lead to protests, unrest, and a loss of morale, making it even harder for Ukraine to sustain its resistance against Russia. 7. Russia's Psychological Warfare: Playing the Long Game Russia has proven to be a master of psychological warfare. Through disinformation campaigns and cyberattacks, Russia has been trying to weaken Ukraine from within. Russian media spreads false narratives, not only in Ukraine but globally, to undermine the war effort and sway international opinion. If Russia continues to manipulate the situation, it could erode Ukraine’s support both at home and abroad. Russia’s ability to play this game of influence means that even countries supporting Ukraine could eventually grow weary, especially if they feel that Ukraine’s position is becoming untenable. This psychological pressure, alongside Russia’s military might, could wear down Ukraine’s resolve. 8. Russia's Patience and Willingness to Escalate Lastly, Russia’s strategy seems focused on outlasting Ukraine. Russian forces have shown they can take heavy losses in the short term and still keep pushing. If necessary, they may adopt a strategy of slow, methodical conquest, gradually wearing down Ukraine over time. Russia also has the option of escalating the conflict by using more devastating weapons, such as chemical or even nuclear weapons, though that remains an extreme measure. Still, the threat alone could force Ukraine to negotiate from a position of weakness. In the end, Russia’s willingness to go to extreme lengths and its ability to outlast Ukraine’s resources means it could eventually force Ukraine to surrender, regardless of how hard the Ukrainian people fight. Conclusion: The Uncertain Future of Ukraine The reality is harsh. While Ukraine has shown incredible resilience, its future looks increasingly uncertain. The imbalance in military power, economic strain, internal divisions, and the possibility of reduced Western support all suggest that Ukraine may not be able to withstand Russia for much longer. The divisions within NATO and the fear of confronting Putin head-on further complicate the situation. Unless there is a major shift in the dynamics of international support or a dramatic change in the course of the war, Ukraine’s ability to continue the fight is in serious jeopardy. Ukraine has fought valiantly, but the odds are stacked against it. As the war grinds on, the question becomes not whether Ukraine will hold on, but for how much longer it can endure. If Russia's power continues to grow, and if NATO’s resolve falters, Ukraine may find itself at a breaking point. The road ahead is uncertain, and only time will tell how this devastating conflict will ultimately unfold. |

shoodboi2:Gbam. I have not watched any Western media (Be it Free to air or paid cable) for almost 4yrs now. It wasn't easy to stop watching though, after discovering how deceptive, cruel and wicked they are 12yrs ago, it took another 8yrs to fully break free from their media, they're just everywhere. They come at you even via your local news channels, especially Channels TV and Nigeriainfo (TV/Radio). Even search engines are there to misinform you daily. Media salvation came when Tiktok came to being, if not, their various social media platforms would have kept the media freedom difficult to achieve. |
