Ohafia is one of the great towns we have in Abia state but unfortunate they have allowed terrorist to build camps in their territory.
Biafra agitators bring only sorrow and tears in any community they operate.Other towns and villages should learn from Orlu.

Governors refusing to sign death sentences on arrested notorious cultists and bloodthirsty criminals who now later escape during jail breaks cannot be excused from blame for every instability in their region.

For God's sake, Tinubu should grant amnesty to Nnamdi KANU and release him from the detention. His presence will stem all these killings going on in the region.

Except there is something else we don't know, Tinubu release this man immediately. He Is the president and his duty is to address areas of conflict in the country.

We can't continue this way. Yet we pretend all is well before international community.

Tinubu release Nnamdi KANU for sake of peace in southeast. The killings in the region would be adequately taken of if he's released.

You came in to correct wrongs in the polity. Not to aggravate it or find scapegoats.

You released the protesters without strings attached to it. And you were applauded. Anybody who says Nnamdi KANU should continue to be in detention is enemy of your government. He doesn't wish you well.

Put aside all legal lacuna and his offenses and release him. You will be applauded within and beyond our boundaries.

Waiting!

If Kanu is released, and he says he wants Biafra otherwise his boys continue killing, you would be back to say we should grant him Biafra.

The fact remains simple, they should allow these 5 states to be on their own than wasting human resources under a government that is not for the people.

Hmm easterners should protect their region. It’s a beautiful place to be and do business. All these killings aren’t necessary even though I don’t care about members of the NPF and NA dying like chickens. I hate those people so much.
Me too. They are bastards.

They tried to high jack the state through the lg election, they failed. Now they have turned to use gun men to frustrate the government. Governor Oti should as matter of urgency develop a robust strategy to neutralize this evil. The people of Abia are at peace with the current government. Use intelligence to capture and deal ruthlessly with those behind this no matter how highly placed.
Given the present unitary structure of Nigeria, especially its security set up, it would be near impossible for any state gov't to get a handle on this type of engineered insecurity in the south-east! It's being carried out by agents of the hegemonic deep-state embedded in the south-east! They either come into the region commit these murders and leave or they are embedded within the security network in the region (DSS, police or army) and can easily go back into their barracks/posts after coming out to commit these murders!

Has anyone questioned the kind of confidence these animals have to operate....to go about with high-calibre weapons in cars without the fear of being stopped, and confronting armed security personnel...ALL DONE WITH CONFIDENCE AND A COCKSURE ATTITUDE THAT SHOWS A MEASURE OF EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE IN HANDLING WEAPONS! Remember what Abacha alluded to: that the state can be engaged in engineering insecurity, and that any insecurity that lasts for a sustained period of time has the hand of the deep-state in it!

We can discuss why these animals are engaged in all this bloodshedding of innocent blood in the south-east, but that's a topic for another thread!

At no point did Mazi Kanu EVER say such a thing! I dare you to provide a link showing where he said so!

You 'one Nigerianist' Igbo-haters should mind how you lie on this forum just becasue you're terrified of living on your own without the Igbo and that if the Igbo leave others would likely leave you as well!

Why not release Nnamdi Kanu whose detention is giving grounds to the insecurity? Southeast was the safest place in Nigeria until the ENDSARS crisis. I'm sure there isn't plans to end it so people like you are hired to blame innocent Igbos on social media.

No matter what, people must troop home.

Security agents are their target, these set of people are armed to protect themselves and others , so they should do the needful.
As I said earlier, lots of people will troop home this Christmas season,we saw it in 2021, 2022, 2023 and this year will not be an exemption.

South East is not a small community but a geographical area that consists roughly 30000km2

,If people will be moving to Kaduna, platuae, benue, Katsina, Niger, Ogun, Edo, sokoto , then I see no reason why people won't return to south east this December.

No supporting the killings but we shouldn't use our mouths to make it seem as if ours is worst. I live in south east and I can tell you I have never encountered violence crime in the past, few years.
