Then they added soft drinks to the list.

It looks like our body reacts to different things...
Like me I notice something...if I'm in a moving car I tend to start losing strength, feeling vomiting and instant fever/malaria comes upon me
Even there was a time I stayed away for two days without looking at my laptop or phone because I went to a place where I could not access those gadgets

Guess what when I came back home and resume my normal looking at my phone screen and laptop...you know what I instantly developed eye issues..my eyes were watery, eye lids swollen and become very sensitive to light and it started behaving as if there was a stone inside my eyes

A medical professional should be in the best position to unravel the truth or myth.

I believe some mangoes species peels are highly acidic, which might triggers some allergies reactions to some people if consume together with high acidic softdrinks.

That's just my presumption, but a medical professional will be in the best position to clarify things.

As for the combination, I've never tried that.

I tried it and nothing happened though it's wasn't intentional ...it was even this year .After eating some mango fruits..it was thirsty then I bought pepsi and drank it..later I realised what I have done...but I thank God nothing happened..but I guess is superstitious beliefs

I heard it a killer combo too scared to try it.

As we all know, everyone has a different immune system that functions differently. I've tried all of them in one day (banana, mangoes, candies and fanta), not that it was intentional; I visited the villa and missed the fresh fruits directly from the tree, and then I decided to have em all, already I had candies after the drink... I don’t use sugar to sip garri; I hate it. I prefer sugar on tea instead, and nothing happened.

I grew up in a a very rough neighborhood and we kids then were daredevils. We heard about this shiii and about four of us tried it and nothing happened.

Thank God for life and his blessings. When I look back at my childhood, I find it funny that's it's those crazy shiii we were told not to do that we were always excited to do
