I have never liked Eguavon's coaching methods... But he seems to have a way with getting the required results. If a local coach is what is needed... Then he should be considered for the job highly. Only question is how he will combine with his position as technical director even though the roles overlap but I will suggest not to combine both! 2 Likes |

Personally, I don't believe Eguavoen has what it takes cos that team always shows a lack of synergy and cohesion. The calibre of players we have and the results we are getting are quite disproportionate... The technical gap is obvious. For now though, I don't know if we have another choice, except they want to give the talented Samson Siasia a chance. Never. It must not happen. If Rhor could be sacked by NFF after garnering 13 points in our group despite enabling our qualification to the World Cup playoffs by topping that group and 14 points on group table for qualifying us to AFCON 2022. Eguavoen too should not be given that job as he garnered just 11 points of which CAF dash us free 3 point plus 3 goals bonus out of the 11 point that made us top that group.
