Was chatting to Andy today. He's a recruiter now specialising in Finance Exec roles. He's been trying to put me forward for a role somewhere

There's quite a few of these ex rugby guys in professional services now. The Director of Finance at a consultancy I did some work for was came from Harlequins.

Andy's captain at Worcester was a guy called Chris Pennell who I believe is now a Quantity Surveyor. His other teammate Tome Howe now runs a coffee shop. These are young young guys in their early to mid 30s.

Most of them are from private school background and well educated so dem dey blend easily, even Andy dey use Finance terms like who get MBA. I think rugby is just a choice for them rather than a career, these guys mostly come from money and are just extending their childhood by a decade by playing rugby

Few days after Biden gave Ukraine the permission to strike inside russia with US supplied weapons and a few hours after russia supposedly changed its nuclear doctrine to ensuring a nuclear response even to conventional weaponry attack inside russia, Ukraine struck several targets with American made weapons. Russia can't do sh(i)t!

We still remember 2017 in Syria where the US wiped out over 400 russian troops in less than 15 minutes and the US lost not a single soldier in that response to Russia attempting to attack a US base. Russia could do nothing. It rather denied its own soldiers and the US continued to mop them up and flatten any structure they were hiding in.

The US brought in f-16s and f-15s plus a couple of f-22s and AC-130s. The sand were the bombs from the american planes exploded on turned to glass and countless Russian soldiers were vaporised.

Anyways. Yesterday, humanity witnessed for the first time, real time deployment of an ICBM in combat. The weapon Russia launched had 18 MIRVs(independently targetable re-entry vehicles). The warheads were not armed but if each of them was armed with a nuke, nothing less than 8-12 million people would have died yesterday.

The missile is known to travel at speeds up to or even exceeding mach 15. Each warhead, after separation was suspected to be traveling at 7km/s. There is no known anti-air or missile defense system that can stop a missile traveling at that speed. Indeed there is non that can stop an ICBM in its re-entry phase.

Russia had notified the US, Britain, Germany and France two days before that missile launch which is why these countries closed their embassies in Ukraine yesterday.

I was on this thread when people who were living in Rivers state, commended his good work on the road infrastructure. Even BlueRayDick, who doesn't live in the state, had something nice to say about the roads in Rivers state when he last visited. Also,i was in Abuja sometimes earlier this year and the good roads struck my attention among other notable developments. Wike's hwork speaks for him. If he dares contest for president in this country,he will surely have my vote.

It simply means the PSP operators are under the control of LAWMA(the government agency) . So it is a public-private sector partnership thingy.

I have a laptop with sound issues. I have been able to narrow it down to a faulty audio chip on the motherboard.

Are guys who repair laptops skilled enough to replace the chip or I have to bite the bullet and replace the entire motherboard.

The laptop is just a little over a year and is out of warranty.
