Hi guys... I just got a remote job and I have been having light issues. I just need a recommendation on a power station to get. My Budget is around 200k. For now, I don't mind if it doesn't come with solar panels. I just want a portable power station that can charge with light and store power. Should. Last for about 8 hours with just laptop and phones plugged in. Any recommendations for solid products?

Thank you for your contribution.. although this looks too technical for me. Do you know anyone who can help with the installation of this?

Nothing special, just expose the panel to solar and plugs your devices.

GerogeI:
Solar gets very costly mainly when peeps want to use power at night, meaning they have to store it. Batteries are costly. But you can enjoy solar power in day time, without heavy investment in batteries.

So if you can live with mearsly night power, you can have robust daytime power.
You need inverter and solar charge controller 100k, one or two car batteries 40k ( note you can also use a fairly old car battery, as long as it still gives 12 volts) and as many solar panels as you can get. Buy used panels. The more the solar panels, the more the power, from 10 am to 5 pm. The car battery is just to act as base for the inverter and also to even out instantaneous variation in power production due to changes in sun's intensity. It can charge you phone at night, and provide lighting, but that's it for night use.

Also, there are Chinese solar inverters that can work without batteries when the sun is reasonably bright. But they come in 2kw and 5kw capacities and would burn your whole budget.
This is great wisdom, if I had known these since by now I for don know my level for solar energy. Am embarking on these after Christmas. I just need lighting points in the night, will charge all my gadgets in the afternoon. I can get car battery fairly used for the main time. Thanks for sharing these idea bro

GerogeI:
Yes, Bypass means it stops monitoring battery voltage and stops battery charging function. All power from the panels will be sent to the load. What it will power depends on the power input from the solar panels and the suns intensity.

If you are asking if its a limp mode, no its not a limp mode. I get more wattage out in bypass mode, because the system is not charging battery or bothering about the battery at all.
What make is it please and capacity.

Search for Joshnka on google.
I created this thread and, after a long take, I settled with his system. It’s been 4/5 months now, and it’s serving well enough.

But then, do your research. I am not advertising for him. I only patronized him cos his systems are cheaper (some here said that he probably uses Grade B batteries, I can’t tell for sure) and he has been there all these years before the so-called solar Generators became a thing.

But if you feel otherwise, then I’d advise you for an Ecoflow system. I am in one of their threads, and the testimonies and reviews there are enough for me to save up and get the system had I not gotten my own from Josh.

In addition to my reply to you, if I am to start over again without Ecoflow or the system from Josh, this will be a basic setup for me:
CWORTH Lithium battery : 206K
MIV 60Amps Charge controller: 30K or so
1000watts Sachet inverter : 30k or so
4 pieces of 200 watts Africell Panels = 160K
Solar Cable (depending on the length) = 30k

Total = 456k

And yes, the 350k was not enough for this.

The question is what are you powering? Or if it goes past charging phones and lighting points then I don't think ur budget is realistic at this point in time.

It won't be easy but....
Used car battery 75a = 30k or deep cycle battery 65a abt 55-70k
Used pannels 45k to 50k
Inverter of 25k 500w
Cc pwm of 10k
Wire won't be dc wire but single cord copper wire 10k depending on distance.

This is mainly for charging of phones mostly in the afternoon. My personal opinion not professional advice ooo.
