Happy Sunday All,

I was once a good Christian I guess once upon a time.

But in recent times, I have been curious about what it means to be a Christian:

- Is being a Christian, going to church and signing in ?
- is being a Christian not being mindful of the welfare of your brother/sister being a Christian?

- Is being a Christian, fighting over parking space in church with another Christian being a Christian?

- Is being a Christian, being chastised not for attending church service because of lack of tp being a Christian?

- Is seeing your fellow church member trekking in the scorching sun and not willing to drop off such a person, means you are a Christian ?

- Is Christianity being a tattletale (speaking bad against your neighbour)?

Is Christianity, a state of mind. I thought Christianity is supposed to be children of God (all of us) being Christlike??

Are the above mentioned people Christians?

I guess we aren't all perfect and can try hard to be Christlike.

Putting things in perspective:

Being a Christian I guess is about developing oneself to be more Christlike.

Whilst dealing with life's and personal imperfections. In addition, not condeming others for their imperfections.

What threw me of... Is a man/woman of God preaching against something:

- Adultery/fornication
- alcohol/smoking
- Lewd dressing etc

Whilst indulging in the very thing they are preaching against.

Contrary to what most people erroneously think or conclude abour Christianity, Christianity isn't about the church building structure, it's not about the gathering on a Sunday to show off theatrics and then go back home. It's more than that.

Christianity in its truest and purest form is basically about the lifestyle of an individual which when viewed is in total conformity to Christ's hence the word 'Christianity'. If in ones living both in his privacy and in public lifestyle there's taint, or doesn't conform to christlikeness, then that person isn't qualified to be a Christian.

According to Late Myles Munroe, if one must carry a big bible or wear a particular dress or style of uniform, then that person isn't a Christian. Christianity radiates from the heart and soul outwards. Many people who claim to be christians are practicing wickedness, hypocrisy, mistrust, half truths, selfishness and godlessness in the church.
The people who are church goers have no single iota of Christlikeness in them. A lot of Christians do behave like devil himself. Christianity is abour true worship,true Christianity is fearing God and obeying him its about living a holy life worthy o emulation. Its obedience and submission in totality. Its a pure lifestyle. Its done without compromise, in spirit and in truth.

Most church goers lack these.

This is the reason:
These are the same Christians who belong to fraternities and some has personal or secret native doctors who supports them with the same power, the same native doctors they are telling their members not to go near, but protect themselves, and their family, do miracles and make crowd puller charms using this these fraternal or native powers

After Europeans left they handed over to their proxies who call themselves pastors( past story tellers) to keep on the exploitation for financial gain. These proxies then tell you they are new covernant believers but brought Tithes issue from old testament with same fear theory like 'If you don't pay your tithe you will not smell heaven. God Almighty of The Original Torah is the only True God!

The group name "CHRISTIANS" was formed out of the title "CHRIST" the Jewish young man who claimed he is the Christ commissioned a global work and handed it over to his disciples (friends)
So it's those doing this work that were called CHRISTIANS by observers in an ancient city known as Antioch {Act 11:26} therefore before we can call anyone one of them such a person must be actively involved in the work Jesus of Nazareth assigned to his first century disciples! Matthew 28:19-20
There is a global group doing that work today and everything Jesus foretold about them in the scriptures is happening just as he prophesied!

You can't be a Christian without the organized group of people doing what Jesus commanded {Matthew 28:19-20} that's what the inhabitants of Antioch saw before calling them CHRISTIANS! Act 11:26

being good is not a criterion to be a Christian.
The only criterion to be a Christian is to believe in Christ.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

But in recent times, I have been curious about what it means to be a Christian:

- Is being a Christian, going to church and signing in ?

The only people on this earth that go to church and sign in or not sign in are Christians..
It does not even matter whether you sign in or not. So long you identify yourself to any church, you are a Christian

That does not affect you being a Christian in anyway and has absolutely nothing to do with you

No, it is not

They are Christians who deceive themselves. They are still Christians notwithstanding

Harsh realities of this life have nothing to do with anyones Faith or religion

Does God forgive excesses of men, whilst allowing some to be rich and others poor interns of sharpness.

Im in akwaibom and suddenly don't see the need to attend church

As what I see is eye service.
