The yorubas for decades have been claiming that igbos don’t sell land to them.

Ok let’s assume that it’s true.

The real question that Nigerians are not asking Yorubas is did other tribes also refuse to sell land to them?

Where are the yorubas buying land from Bini, Efik, ibibio, Tiv, Kanuri, Gwari, Hausa, etc ? Did the Igbos tell those people not to sell land to Yoruba?

Talk to anyone in these groups that I mentioned, they can point to areas in their communities where Igbo business people bought land and developed but they can never point to where yorubas have bought land and develop in their communities.

Another point is that because of their nepotistic involvement in the oil and gas sector, port harcourt has harbored a large Yoruba population yet you can’t point to one estate yorubas developed in port harcourt or a community in rivers state where Yoruba people came together, bought land and developed.

It’s time Nigerians collectively ask yorubas to shut up.

in far away Cross-River Ogoja outside the indigenous people of the state the next people that do acquire land there are ibos, Do they not sale to Yorubas also, in Benue, platue, bayalsa, Asaba the same thing. are this people also hustle to Yoruba's

How can you buy land without engaging yourself lucratively in any location?

Do people understand what it takes to start a business with N500k capital and build it up to N50m upwards in 5 to 10 years?


One tailor Laide, in my area is doing ok in his tailoring work. What does he do with the money he makes?

He changes his Nigeria used car to another Nigerian used, every year and celebrates with crates of beer in the front of his shop.

We are always invited to come drink and thank God for enabling him change yet another car each year.

Passers by are also asked to join in the beer galore, but...

Who will tell Laide that he is bad in financial management without being accused of being jealous of his "successful" car buying spree?

Serious minded Yoruba businessmen hardly venture out of their geopolitical enclave to explore other parts of Nigeria.
