The US ICBM The Minuteman 3, is the fastest intercontinental ballistic missiles in the world with a speed of Mach 23.
The US submarine launched UGM-133 Trident II can reached mach 24
Even China’s DF-41 has an unverified reported speed of Mach 25.
The oreshnik missiles is not even in the top fastest ballistic missiles in the world,
But it's speed it's impressive for an IRBM

The Minuteman is the fastest intercontinental ballistic missiles, only the unverified China DF-4 "mach 24" comes close.

Ok, I'm just going to say it. The Russian missile which hit dnipro is a marvel of science. It has motivated me in my research. Also Russian missile technology is decades more advanced than USA's.

If it wasn't known that that missile was Russian, I would have thought Zeus or an alien race was striking the earth. Since Peter the great, Russia has been moving science forward. Two of my professors were Russians, the scientific world will always owe Russia.

Is this what you call Mach 23? Did you watch the footage of Oreshnik both in flight and during landing stage. That landing stage is the most scary part of it as if it teleported from Russia into Ukraine instantly that was what I was expecting to see o not this usual ballistic missile flight we have been used to.
