TECNO one of the leading Smartphone brand in Nigeria has refused to update the Operating system of their devices one year after our purchase. Imagine spending over 800k for their Fold and one year after they're yet to release the Android 14 system update not to talk of the Android 15. The phone is still stuck with the Android 13 it came with out of the box.

The brand will soon lose the majority of their fan base if they keep doing this thing. Smartphone buyers are wiser now and will go anywhere they see value.

that's why you should buy a Google pixel phones

its duely business ..

I don't know about you, but my Phantom X2 has received 2 software updates. Got it at 12 and it's now currently at Android 14.
I don't expect 15 though.

It's the reason why i left them in 2020 and went for Samsung S series.

I feel only those who are not interested in the life of their phones buy Tecno phones.

Apple has their main research and development facility located in China and their phone assembled there.

China is country that can produce you quality or inferior products base on budget.

Breaking: TECNO Phantom V Flip Android 14 update just arrived today. Quite late, but better late than never; right?

The update is 7GB large and updates the phone from Android 13 to 14. It also updates HiOS on the phone to version 14.5.

The last rub!sh phone I got till I made up me mind that I was done is infinix zero 5 pro. and no upgrade. I just jeje switched to Samsung. I got my samsung at android 11 or 12, today its running on android 14.

I don't know what phone exactly you're using, but if you have a phantom x2 just check your settings and you'll find a download ready and available. I can't just send it to you.

I dont need to give him money, if os updates is what he wants, then the latest model. Tecno don't give out updates like samsung
