One Danjuma Terima, from Taraba State has lamented after losing all the beans he planted on his farm to suspected produce thieves.


Danjuma, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Monday, November 25, 2024, said he returned
from his mother's burial only to discover that thieves invaded his farm and harvested all the beans, leaving no single seed.

While i returned from my mum's 7 days burial prayers, i decided to go and check my bean's farm today, only to see that thieves have invaded the farm and have harvested all the beans.

In fact those guys make sure that no single seed is left in the farm.

The next problem on ground now is the theft of farm crops, i took the report to the village head, his narration is funny, he told me more scary tales of some other community members whose farm is 10x my own, but were stolen over night.

These shows that these thieves moves in colony, they form niche of mutual theft. They assist each other in invading victims farms to their satisfaction at night.

It is hgh time every farming community set up community taskforce to combat this marauders.

From one bad issue to another, this Nov. Has been a trying moment in my life, packed with alot of bqd stuffs, i want to come out of this strong, pls Lord let me not break down. 🙏

Some years back someone actually harvest my yam so clean and left the leaves and stem intact... Was a painful experience

Same thing happened to me last year, after spraying my last pesticide, I waited at home for just one week for the beans to dry, I went back to farm only to discovered that these guys have harvested all my beans

I planted again this year, despite the fact that i gave my farm close marking, these guys still succeeded in removing more than half of my beans. It is well...

Our cassava was harvested over night, they went to the farm with keke and did the operation
