pope191:I no even think of you when I made my post, I am surprised u think I may be referring to u. By the way, all the points in your post have been washed and rinsed several times in this thread. Person wey dash person 100m no dey do 9-5 and girl wey get job of 900k na one in 100,000. Will I be willing to do such a job?, Yes. Is it readily available? No. The one that is available and easy to get is what I am using to get to where I am going to. The argument on ground was about earning potential, some people kept saying there is no more profit after buying fuel for 40k or 30k or 50k and I begged to differ but they faced me and called me names. Pope, u have been long in this game, and on this thread, we can easily count 10 drivers in the last 5yrs who used ehailing as launch pad for their japa quest. As a single man if ur desire is to travel out, u should have done so by now if u were serious from the beginning. U were like the Jacksononfire of today, who was always complaining of ehailing, and attacking me when I kept shouting ehailing is like a gold mine. Thank God u changed, U picked up, and got serious later and today u have things to show. Ghost1994 just said it last week, he worked 4days and used 2days to learn new skills. Today he is in Germany. Anything u set your heart to do is possible and ehailing can give u both the flexibility and finances that u need. It has always been to every mallam his kettle, for me when others are saying there is a casting down, I will be saying their is a lifting up. One thing u must not do in life is go through it without a plan and mind u, ur plan should not be to ride horses in d sky. Nothing good comes easy, if u go through life with soft mindset and wishes or childhood dreams, u are not going to get anything meaningful out of it. Peace ✌️ |

I don't think it's good to talk down on anyone's livelihood. There are still some 9-5 that are far better than driving strangers up and down. I will never stop saying this: live and let's live. Do your e-hailing and let others do their 9-5. The other guy that tried to talk down on e-hailing, I attacked it immediately, So if you decide to talk down on 9-5, I'll also attack it. Leave people's livelihood alone. Run your own race! There's absolutely nothing in this life to brag about. Everything is vanity! Vanity upon Vanity, All is Vanity! |

Pearl1910:My problem with you is you keep twisting the argument The argument was you claimed the guy that did 20k gross in 3hours will still use 20k fuel that day and gross 80k which I was among those that said it's never possible Be guided! |

pope191:You are not wrong, Pearl is also spot on, like I've always emphasized PERSPECTIVE and LIVE AND LET LIVE, Barbiturate has said it too. I know how far I've come with this hustle, now I'm planning to be like you and get "Personal car and e-hailing car", isn't that growth? You posted some cars and receipts the other day, won't you consider it as growth? I believe you didn't acquire everything at once. Bills are universal whether driver, CEO or even unemployed, they come for us all and a man must meet them or perish. That's why I get up and go to work. I talked about health insurance the other day, I can afford it so I have it. Last year I took a holiday outside this country. Some of the things I dreamt of affording myself I can now, but this wasn't always the case. Let no one come here to try and force a single narrative and then have the audacity to abuse anyone who challenges that narrative. Their bile can't change anything for me but it will do a whole lot to them unfortunately. |

Pearl1910:I knew you weren’t referring to me, but words they say are like mud and we can’t tell where it splashes. I wasn’t being serious too, e b like you give me albow when you won punche them 😂… we all have different views and if not for the argument, here will be like gr*veyard. So, I’ve learnt to accept all with smiles. I feel we have misunderstanding. There’s no time I put the hustle down. If we ever have back and forth that should be because you see ehailling as heaven and I don’t. This doesn’t mean I am not serious or I am not making money from it, but like Oliver I want more. I do business plan and feasibility study a lot, so I can tell you the best you can achieve from a race. XGhost just said something about growth. I honestly do admit with him and what I have been telling people, there’s level to this thing. I came into the game with borrowed money and here we are today, but I ain’t done growing, there’s work to be done and I have been doing that ever since I gained consciousness of what I would love to see under the sun. Some of us can disguise like the playful child during class, but when it come to results, we are not lacking behind. While some will always like to show how good they are. Me I don’t care and I have nothing to prove to anyone. If you need help ask and not thro banter. Nobody they pay my school fees. I have put people thro that has gone on to get another car and I am still doing it. Japa has never been my thing(supposed wife left for UK and I do freedom for her), I no get passport self, lately I am just giving it a second tot and kings men Dey drag me (from a home of 2 men and everybody no fit leave house. Why me 🤷🏻♂️). That’s that… but on the flip boss, there’s life they after life. Energy can be discharge and outstretched on many things today 10/15/20 years from now, is it really what the stress? We need to constantly reevaluate out tots as we deh fire down. Is not a bad thing and as for the personal thing. I don’t really think I can wake 5am to go drive, tho I wake around 4am. I have done it before, slept at farm city, chevron rd. AP at phase 1, park view, unilag mosque, cubana…. Looking back nah sufferness, it has nothing to do with hard man. And really what made me stop the early morning stuff, nah those Lexus and Benz guys coming from club. Thank God for covid that changed that view too. Tho I fit still sleep for cubana and farmcity. May the gods bless those girls for the sight they allow man to feed his eyes with, never a boring night with them 🤦♂️ |

XGhost:I dig with you boss… God no go shame us. But if you ask me my state of mind today? I’ll say happy, but not joyous. Person wey don marry for 10 years, e no see pikin. He was out of job the day em wife born triplet. Boss you see say he have every reason to be happy, but when he settle down think well 😂 |

pope191:You see this paragraph, it speaks alot... But, once someone just complain of something, they feel the person isn't doing well through ehailing. Like you said, you can't wake up 5am to drive anymore, likewise me, I've put in the work to achieve little I have now, but truth is, the work doesn't worth that effort anymore. Before this Tpain happen, I know how much I take home with 5hours of work, but now, I have to put in 10hours+ to achieve same result, does that make the work worth the time, I will say NO if you ask me.. |

Its not so bad to ask that content on this thread should be focused on encouraging, motivating and problem solving. In addition to keys and secrets to ehailing success. Okay but u say driving will give u pot belly, bad eyesight, and waist pain. Okay so what is the solution to mitigate this? U may say ehailing will trap u, okay so what do I do so I don't get trapped? U may say the day u drop key or one accident or damage can make u go back to square zero. Okay so how can we prevent this and manage our finances? U may say ehailing is not a proper hussle someone should be doing all his life. okay can u tell people what else they can do? Is the job profitable? Yes, most certainly. Are there challenges on the job? Yes, most definitely. So lets come up with solutions to challenges ehailing drivers are facing, help people to breakthrough in life and enjoy the benefits. That's all I am after here. |

Omoapena:Contentment is also key, I make peace with things that are not in my power to change, where I must. Doesn't mean I don't have higher aspirations, like Hennessy, "Never stop, Never Settle". Was it Pope or Pearl who referenced how daily net targets have been steady Increasing to stay ahead of the inflationary curve, that's how the world operates and we should be no different. However, and this is where I point to you, even before balablu you've been on the side of it's not profitable. I was shocked when after the whole price hikes same una flooded the thread with how much you were making and how many cars y'all had and ultimately circling back to "the hustle no pay". Exactly as you've said here now. To the point una nearly ask landlord to give driver car for free. C'mon Let's get real with ourselves for once abeg. Nobody has ever said there aren't challenges and anybody who comes into the hustle and thinks it's all streets paved in gold is a thief. But show me where there are no challenges. Do you know how happy I am every time I see Obedi post his earnings, Pearl to but him na baba. Obedi de give me joy. And I hope others see the dashboards and the hustle generally how I see it... as the promise of what's possible, that's why I post anything here |

YeyeGbami:It's not so much about Putting in the time as it is about making the right choices. The screenshot below for example, 9k after Uber commissions, some drivers would jump at it but look closely. Trip distance 17.7km Trip time 1hr 10. Factor in a 13 minute pickup time, that's already 1hr23. Ideally 17km trip should not be more than 40 minutes at 2km per minute with some extra time for buffer. This means to me that traffic is about 30 minutes. Which means extra fuel, extra wear on my car and more mental and physical fatigue. I could make this same amount using less energy, less time and less fuel

Barbiturate:Eat bitter kola. One nut daily for the next 4 days. Drink at least 6 satchets of water daily . Don't sit in the car for too long. Take stretches n stroll around the car. Reduce Alcohol too. Also, this is controversial, don't eat till you are full. Stop along the way. |

XGhost:That Obedi guy is like Glithronix. I am super proud of them and many other silent guys. They may not plan to do ehailing for long but they are seizing the opportunity. Not wanting to dwell on the negativity. I hate mediocrity. People saying "what will be will be" are just looking for excuses" I don't wake up 5am anymore" "I have paid my dues" who ask u? Isn't that showoff too 😂 moreover did I tell u I wake up 5am to make 50k? Well what do I know, na their life. My own is anybody that wants to come to this thread to talk down on ehailing will have me to contend with. |

Pearl1910:Some food weight one down. Once the body has taken what requires, the rest goes to waste and may be harm to the body. Water is so great for the body, especially when we wake in the morning and night. The night own is being mindful of your sack, so don’t take much. Excess drugs and alcoholic drinks are never good for the body (pending on how blessed your liver and kidney is tho). |

Pearl1910:It's a Japanese system of living. It optimises the energy flow of the body, when we don't eat to satiation. Digestion consumes a lot of energy, which limits the deployment of energy to other key areas in the body ( cell regeneration, organ repair, growth.etc). You would notice that the kidneys filter best when we are asleep. Cos energy domiciled in the body during this period of rest are efficiently allocated . It looks unbelievable at first. But most MOG engage this ancient practice. Eat but not to satiation. It takes time to achieve mastery sha. This is for men. It's also controversial, there's a fluid, fluid is dependent too on our diet, the more of that fluid we can harness, the higher the chances of the body to operate in manufacturers template. |

Bros was just trying to paint portrait of being cool, within uncle Dey gba 😂 nah deception and lies I hate as human. On the flip, no one is actually doing bad if you listen to voice of reasons and put head down to learn. |

pope191: northbird:Thanks guys... I understand now. This is true, from my experience if I eat before I start work or early in the morning before 9am. I am not very agile and my judgement will not be optimal. If I eat heavy in the afternoon, na sure sleep and sluggish behavior till end of day but if I skip meals I work very efficiently. So I eat my first meal around 11am then snack for lunch and supper, then full meal dinner when I get home. Although, I drink a lot of water... Some days I consume 3 bottle water. |
