This is quite unbelievable, I hope God strikes anyone down that would want to sabotage this achievement.
Re: Port Harcourt Refinery Ready, Trucks Begin Loading by koning: 1:37pm On Nov 26, 2024
Fuel must drop to less than N500 a liter on account of over supply. With 4 working refineries we will have a surplus.

This is good news. The only savior for Tinubu.

When fuel prices crash, the price of foodstuffs will follow.

Hope this not blending of petroleum products like refinery in Malta.

With no video like Dangote ?
Why not simply Google "Port Harcourt Refinery commences production" and then click video in the results link displayed? In fact I've done it for you below. 2 seconds of thinking and Google research you cannot do.

Just know, before you rush to speak next time, to think so you don't sound like one of the poor and substandard human resources failing Nigeria yet those sort continue to blame leaders and others for everything.

This NNPC move is a breath of fresh air! Finally, we can breathe easy knowing that Dangote won't have a monopoly over our petrol supply. Competition is key to keeping prices fair and ensuring we don't end up paying through the nose. If we let one player control everything, we’re just setting ourselves up for another disaster. By the way, if you're looking for a share apartment in Lekki or need short-let options around Lekki and Lagos Island, hit me up! I can help you find a cozy spot or even accommodate someone in an extra room for a fee. Let's make living in Lagos easier together!
That's if it doesn't go back to its default state of non-functionality. They better privatise them like OBJ tried to do.

PBAT is equal to them. Frank Kokori, former NUPENG scribe, said as much to Nigerians in 2022. May he continue to rest in peace.

Your point about privatisation will ordinarily be valid and the right course of action in buoyant times. Yet we cannot privatise right now as that will be tantamount to economic suicide.

Part of our gravest and most acute problem as a nation currently is dearth of income and especially forex-linked income. Buhari and co finished us off completely like a comatose boxer premium Mike Tyson just destroyed with his famous vicious uppercut.

We need to run refineries professionally, profitably and efficiently for years, to gain appreciable income from exporting refined derivatives of crude (where the real money is) and then use such to turn around the socio-economic fortunes of Nigeria plus begin to grow national reserves and invest in our human and material resources.

Remember we are a cash-strapped mono economy, reliant mainly on crude oil income, now desperately needing short term injection of cash that will allow us develop many other moribund sectors like agriculture, steel production, mining sector etal. We cannot turn our back on the option of exportable PMS and other refined derivatives of crude as our short term saviour.

You're right, but I hope they WORK. These refineries just don't work, not since the 1990s even though billions have been spent on them.

Sir., I appreciate your pessimism. I am pessimistic too but know this must work. Buhari and his lot took us for our last Kobo and Nigeria is now poorer than an Ajegunle church Rat.

Nigerians are really suffering. I just give as charitably as I can afford to and pray for folks.

I even read this morning Tiwa Savage saying Nigerians thrive at music because the country is so difficult that young people have no choice but to turn to their musical talents to survive. It is true. A nation so bereft of opportunities to the extent music, politics, kidnapping, crime, 'connections' and fraud, not professional opportunities, are now seen as ways out of poverty by many youths.

We are really broke and what most Nigerians don't understand is that no miracle can save us unless we develop new and appreciable income to use to get off our hospital bed of fatal disease to then heal, be able to work, succeed and thrive moving forward .

We better pray it works because people are being simplistic and ignorant thinking there is a magic wand somewhere some leader can wave and all will be well.

You are just a sadist and I can guess your ethnic group even. Nigeria needs serious supplementary income. No group in any serious nation, especially not private business folks like Dangote or BUA etal, can usurp the export capacity and power of said nation. The likes of Dubai and Saudi Arabia have become developed because they efficiently managed their capacity to export crude oil and refined derivatives of crude.

They export crude, petrol and other refined derivatives of crude. Whereas we export crude, economic pittance really, and neglect the much more profitable sector of refined derivative of crude like premium motor spirit (PMS).

Theirs is the template we must copy and Jagaban knows this. It is what PBAT is looking at yet we know those who will never see anything good in what he is attempting to do even when a smart 10 year old can spprecisteb such is entirely logical, proven and tested plus not rocket science or reinvention of the wheel.

Re: Port Harcourt Refinery Ready, Trucks Begin Loading by ajepako(f):
If this is true, then I commend PMB and BAT for this..

Next is to dratically reduce the price to what the masses can afford.

At least something to curb the monopolistic tendencies of Dangote

Once again, this is very commendable if it is true

Yes they have made such false announcement in the past but still patriotic Nigerians believed it because it's what they want for their country and still believe it would happen. Now that its happening, it would be better if a low life like you who has failed in life keep your negative comment about the refinery to yourself.

How sure are you that this is not products from Dangote refinery?
I can still recall how they rented airline & tag it "Nigerian Airline"
How they repackage foreign rice with local brand bags, the rice pyramid saga and many more scam by the government...
Anyways, we wish Nigeria well.

In ur definition of those wishing Nigeria bad
Are those who pray dat fuel price should come down while condemning those who made bad decision which led to d increase

Also those who pray that inflation should b reverted and stability and cost of basic item be restored

Also those good and patriotic nigerians who condem GOVT wasteful spending and corruption...and more d list is endless
Then check well if u are not d enemy of Nigeria who encourages d country to fail
Abeg where did i give you this definition?
