This commendable based on watin doz ojo,okoko environ agent don use lasu students eyes take see,imagine paying #750k for a one room self contain,in a place where u hardly get 3hrs uninterrupted power supply,where the roads are trash .....Anyway till we know the amount we are paying per semester.... This is good but it would have been better if they dont focus on rooms only. Such big structures supposed to have other amenities tied to the building link hall, beauty saloon, gardens etc that will make the place enjoyable for the students.

LASU should do something about the cult activities in the area... The whole school is like a cult playground, flying colours up and down, killings, constant rape cases...

I wonder how the LASG allow their university to degenerate to such level... No student is safe in the school... LASU dragging with IMT and ESUT in cult related issues, even UNIBEN no reach LASU... Just last week, the school had to send circular to freshers to be careful after about four female freshers were "harassed"

The GP storage tanks on the building roof slab is just about 120,000 litres and won't be adequate. Meanwhile, 10,800 students would require a minimum of 1 million litres of water per day. For the hostel to be clean and well maintained, the provision of adequate water should be prioritized.

Even during my undergraduate days between 1996 to 2000, cultism and killing were common in LASU despite it being non residential campus..

Idi Orogbo, opposite LASU, , Vox area, Iyana Iba and PPL areas used to be hotbed of cultist wahala

Sad it has not changed in 24 years..

Because many of Nigeria's Gen Z were born into this corruption cycle, their belief is that stealing is involved in any government project in Nigeria. I see this belief as a bigger problem than corruption itself.

A situation whereby anybody who succeeds in business is seen as CORRUPT is not good for the future. Gen Z fools could end up NOT VOTING a successful businessman into leadership positions while they vote mediocres into government.

There is nothing wrong with that , the most important thing is how they maintain it. There are places around the world like that but they are properly maintained. That is suppose to be your main concern.

It is still the same purpose, they learnt from their masters. The only place you see western govt building such huge structures for alot of people to live in is in the project so called low cost building where crime is the order of the day and all vices but u will never see them living there.
